Luke's P.O.V

I drive down the familiar road and its already starting to get dark outside. I turn into Kai's driveway and see her sitting on her porch looking at her phone. Its slightly windy which makes it a little cold. I glance over at Kai again and the slight blow waves her hair making it look like fire dancing in the wind.

She looks absolutely stunning. I think to myself grinning lightly. I tug on my lip ring to stop myself from smirking at her appearance. She looks at me blushing and starts swatting her face when she caught me staring. Cough. I scratch the back of my neck out of habit.

"Do you wanna get erm, going?" i ask her. She nods in response and i start the engine. All Time Low plays lightly in the backround in the comfortable silence.

The road slowly slims down so it comes to a one way. In the distance I hear loud, obnoxious music playing and sweaty people dancing forcefully next to each other.

I groan thinking about the future hangover I'll have in the morning. Tonight I'm just gonna let loose and have some fun. Maybe I'll finally tell Kai how i feel about her. How I felt about her, us, our entire friendship or relationship. Yes, I think to myself, I'll Definently tell her tonight. Let's just see how tonight goes.

I glance to the passenger seat and I see Kai, staring mindlessly out the window in deep thought. I grab her hand and she slightly tenses up but squeezes my hand back with a sigh.

Its now or never, Luke. Its time to tell your bestfrand, your in love with her.
