ARYA's POV:
"What's this? Where am I? What? I was in Auntie's room!" My voice trembled as confusion washed over me.
The place I found myself in was pitch black, and a sense of disorientation overwhelmed my senses. I struggled to make sense of the situation.
"Why is it so dark suddenly?" I muttered, my voice quivering. I began to examine my surroundings as best as I could in the darkness when suddenly, a gunshot rang out, followed by the sound of someone collapsing.
My heart raced as I followed the direction of the voice, my eyes widening in shock as I saw a figure lying on the ground, surrounded by a pool of blood. Panic coursed through me.
"What should I do now?" I muttered to myself, my hands trembling. I leaned in closer to the injured person, checking for signs of life. "Is he... dead?"
"No, his heart is still beating," I realized, my thoughts racing. I knew I had to do something to save this person, but I wasn't a doctor, and this place seemed abandoned. Desperation set in.
"S-sir, are you listening to me?" I said aloud, shaking the unconscious man's face gently. "Wait, Arya, isn't he the same person who was crying in my dream?" I questioned myself, trying to make sense of the bizarre situation.
"Yes, he is," my inner voice replied. "But this is no time for nonsense, Arya. Think!"
I spoke to myself, recalling what I had seen in movies and read in books. "I've watched and read a lot of dramas and books where they remove bullets and restart the heart to stop the bleeding. Should I try it too?" My subconscious mind immediately protested, mocking my decision as stupid and risky. "What if he dies?"
His phone! I should call someone for help. He might have people waiting for him. I reached into his pocket, trembling as I dialed the first number on his phone. It seemed to be his secretary's contact.
"Don't worry, sir. You'll be fine. Just hold on a little longer," I said, my voice shaking as I tried to reassure the unconscious person lying before me.
The person on the other end of the line picked up, and in a state of panic, I stammered, "Hello... hello!"
The voice on the other side asked, "Who's picking up Mr. Roy's phone?"
"I got this phone from a person who is lying in front of me, badly injured. He's dying!" I explained urgently.
The voice on the other end responded in shock, "What? Share your location; I'm coming!"
"Yes, wait... did it," I replied hastily, my heart racing.
The person on the other side said, "Wait, I'm coming. Stay with him." & Then ended the call.
Arya, he might take some time to arrive, and this person will die if you don't act now. But her subconscious continued to mock her, warning of potential legal consequences. "No, no, I need to save this person," I thought determinedly.
Scanning my surroundings, I spotted a sharp tool and picked it up, my hands trembling. "Focus, Arya, focus," I urged myself. With great effort, I managed to remove the bullet after several attempts. But the person was bleeding profusely now.
I tore a piece of my skrit and used it to cover the wound, trying to stem the bleeding. My hands shook as I attempted to restart the person's heart, pumping urgently with both palms.
The injured person's body responded to my efforts, giving me a glimmer of hope in this dark and bewildering situation.
