Chapter 2: What happened?

POV: Cody.

I walked out of my house with my car keys, but then I saw a car pull into Sierra's house, I was hoping she would never come back. I saw her walk into her house, then that was it. I heard what happened last night, I was on the game. A neighbor told me what happened. My neighbor was Owen. I went to his house and asked what happened. "Hey, Owen, what is happening to Sierra?!" I said, covering my eyes from the lights from the lights on the ambulance truck.

"I'll tell you, buddy," Owen said while munching on popcorn. "She had a shock in her brain, so it fixed her whole mental illness," He told me. "Whatever that means," He replied. "OH, really? I don't believe that."Go look, she's a lot less creepy," He challenged me. "I bet ya 30 dollars she hasn't changed😈" He said to me. Usually, I don't gamble, but I wanted to, so it's ok. "Bet, I'll go now." I responded. I went over to the front porch while Sierra was outside on her phone, checking her blog. I went and sat down on the chair next to her. "Hi Codykins!" She said while waving. Weird, she had never waved. She would usually squeeze me with her strong hugs, then wave, maybe. She would also squeal in a high pitch everyone in the whole town could hear. "So, heared what happened, Are you ok?" I asked her. She put her phone down weirdly. "Yeah, my mom told me about some weird mental illness or something." She told me. I could tell she still liked me because she was blushing the entire time.

After we talked, I decided to apologize about what happened last night. "I'm sorry about kicking you out so harshly last night." I apologized. "No, Cody, I should apologize, I'm sorry for coming in without your consent." She said sadly while patting my head. "I hope you're not mad at me.. " I was shocked. She gave me a.. APOLOGY?!

She usually would get mad at me for giving her a response anyone would. I knew she had changed, but now I could get 30 dollars! I smiled at her, "It's ok, "Sierra, don't be sad!" I told her.
