Adrian had just gotten home from work. He had a very rough day today, he had way to many meetings and had to sign tones of paperwork. He just wanted to shower and sleep with his fiancé.
Adrian- Marinette im home
Marinette- hiii how was work love
Adrian- Horrible i had a t-" in the middle of talking marinette got a phone call
Marinette- im really sorry i have to take this
Marinette left the room to take a phone call. Adrian got upset about it because he knew it was her co worker Nathaniel. Nathaniel was always trying to flirt with Marinette knowing very well she had a man.
Marinette knew about Nathaniel liking her but she couldn't do anything about it, she still had to work with him and answer his phone calls for "work."
After a couple of minutes Marinette went back to the front door and didn't see Adrian, but she did hear the shower water running so she ran upstairs.

Adrian- mhm
Marinette- you wanna finish telling me how your day went?
Adrian- why dont we talk about you, what was the phone call about?
Marinette- nothing really, Nathaniel just asked me if i wanted to have a quick meeting about work and i agreed
Adrian- you did what?

Adrian- yeah you done lost your mind Marinette your not going to that so called "meeting"

Marinette walked out the bathroom and went into her closet to look for one of the most beautiful dresses she has to go to this meeting.
She grabbed a black dress because she knew it was Adrians favorite color and decided to put her nike blazers on. (she was never a high heels person she only wears them to special events)
