Chapter 6

I woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes. Jack had me wrapped in his arms so I started poking him.

"Jack wake up." he didn't flinch.
"Jaaaaaaaack." after pointless attempts of trying to wake him up I just pushed him off the bed.

"Dillion what the hell."

"Sorry you wouldn't wake up." I laughed.

"Your gonna pay for that Stokes. he said jumping onto me and tickling me

"Ja-ack sto-p." I said in between laughs. He finally stopped and collapsed next to me.

"Come on let's go downstairs and eat breakfast." I said pulling jack up.

I out on my Nike spandex and walked downstairs with Jack.

"Jack go out on a shirt." I laughed.

"No I'm more comfortable like this."

We walked downstairs to see Lauren making breakfast.

"Hey Mama Stokes." Jack said taking a seat at the dining table.

"Hey Jack." she responded.

"So Dillion I heard Jack come in last night so I figured I should make breakfast for you both. Do everything is done and I hope you guys like it. But I have to head off to work so I'll be home around 5:0opm ok." Lauren said grabbing her keys. Lauren is a cop for the Los Angeles police department.

"Yea ok whatever. Thanks for breakfast though." I responded.

"Yea see ya later Mama Stokes thanks for breakfast." jack waved.

She smiled and walked out the door. It's kind of weird that Jack even calls Lauren mom in a way and I don't. Oh well.

"Dillion why aren't you nicer to Lauren?

"Ugh Jack you know I hate talking about this."

"Yea I know but you should really be nicer to her. She is really sweet."

Our conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Who is that." Jack asked.

"How the hell am I suppose to know?" I laughed and answered the door.

There stood Samuel Wilkinson.

"What do you want Sam?"

"Can I talk to you please. Just 10 minutes."

"Hey Dillion who's this." Jack asked walking up behind me.

"This is that friend I was talking to you about. Jack why do t you go upstairs and get dressed." I said basically telling Jack to get the hell out of here in a nice way.

After Jack went upstairs I let Sam in.

"Was that your boyfriend?" Sam asked looking sad I think.

"No that's my best friends he is basically my brother. But listen Sam you have 10 minutes and not a second over." I said folding my arms.

"Alright well Dillion I am so sorry that I tried pressuring you into telling me something you weren't comfortable with. I promise I will never do that again. Also I'm sorry that I called you psychotic I really, really didn't mean that and I will never ever call you a nasty and mean name like that again. That was so uncalled for. And Dillion I-i um really li-like you and I was wondering I-if you would go on s date with me tonight?" He stuttered on the last part but it was cute.
I smiled and pulled Sam into my arms. He was tense at first but returned the hug.

"Awe Sam. Yes I will go on a date with you tonight. And I forgive you."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much Dillion and I will pick you up at 7:00 and wear something casual." He hugged me again and went back to his house excited. Im not going to lie but I'm excited too. Jack came downstairs with a smile on his face.

"Oh my god Jack where you ease dropping on our conversation."

"What kind of best friend would I be if I didn't."

I was so happy that I couldn't be mad at Jack I ran into his arms for a hug.

"Im happy for you Dill. Sam seems nice I know he won't be like you know who."

"I hope not." I sighed.

"Dill I swear if he ever does anything your uncomfortable with to you or hurts you let me know and I promise you he won't even think about doing it again ok?"

"Ok" I said still hugging him.

"I'm serious Dillion."

"Ok Jack." I smiled letting go of him.

"Now I have to get ready for my date."i smiled.
