A/N: After this chapter I am placing this book on hold. I planned to do Chapters both 5 and 6 of MLP: Make Your Mark since Chapter 6 will be the final season and Chapter 6 likely won't be out until November if not December. So until then this book is on hold and please be patient as I will update it when the next and final season comes out to wrap the series up.
"Nice job Alexis. You've really managed to do great on this stage. This Music Festival is gonna be amazing!" Pipp says as she and Izzy are with Alexis as she finishes decorating a stage.
"Yeah. You did amazing! I know crafting isn't your thing like it is for me but you do beautifully at designing things." Izzy says as she smiles.
"Thanks guys. I definitely worked hard on the stage and decorations. But I am curious Pipp why did you ask me to do it?" Alexis asks as she looks at Pipp.
"Well you mentioned a while back that you wanted to get into decorating things more and I know you are good at it so I thought you'd like the job. And you did a great job." Pipp says happily.
"Well again thanks. I appreciate it." Alexis says as she smiles kindly.
"Hey guys!" A voice says happily revealing to be Misty.
"Hey Misty. What are you doing up this early?" Alexis asks curiously.
"I just thought I'd go for a smoothie. What are you guys doing?" Misty asks curiously.
"Checking out the amazing job Alexis did on this stage. Doesn't it look great?" Izzy asks as she smiles.
"Yeah. It's beautiful. But then again you always do great with this sort of thing. Better than me anyway." Misty says as she smiles shyly.
"That's not true Misty. I've seen you make some pretty cool things too. Especially if it is tea. Just like a true unicorn you're getting the hang of creating things." Alexis says as she smiles at Misty while blushing.
"Thanks Alexis." Misty says as she blushes.
"Well we'll let you two be. We got to go finish prepping for the festival." Pipp says as she and Izzy begin to leave.
"Wait. What?" Alexis asks worriedly.
"Bye guys." Izzy says as she and Pipp walk off.
"So um Alexis do you wanna um come with me for a smoothie?" Misty asks as Alexis looks at her nervously.
"Oh um uh sure Misty. Of course." Alexis says nervously as she walks off with Misty.
*Timeskip*
"Hey uh Misty I get that you're still getting used to living here in Maritime Bay but you know the way to Sunny's Smoothie Stand. Why did you bring us out here?" Alexis asks as she follows Misty to a cliff side beside the beach.
"Well I kinda lied about me wanting to go get smoothies with you. Or well not really. I wanted to go get smoothies with you but I want to do that after I talked to you." Misty says nervously.
"Okay?.. So um what's uh on your mind?" Alexis asks nervously
"Actually I was curious what's on your mind." Misty says.
"What do you mean?" Alexis asks nervously.
"Ever since Nightmare Night you've been acting really weird. You've also been trying to talk to me since then like you had something to get off your mind. I'm sorry we couldn't talk before now. I just wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to help if you talked to me. But I don't care if I can help. I wanna try. You're my best friend and I care about you. I wanna help you because I know something is bothering you. Please tell me what you kept trying to talk to me about." Misty says as she gives a concerned look.
"Oh uh Misty it's not anything like that." Alexis says as she looks down.
"What do you mean?" Misty asks curiously.
"I mean it's not so much of something that's a problem as it is something I've been needing to be honest with you about. Something I've been feeling for a while that I've wanted to tell you about." Alexis says as she looks at Misty.
"Really? Wow. Okay so um what is it then?" Misty asks curiously.
"Misty are you sure you want to know? I don't want to lose you as my friend because of this. I want to be honest but I'm scared of how it might change things." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Alexis you have nothing to be scared about. Nothing will ever change the way I feel toward you. You'll always have me. No matter what. So please tell me what's on your mind. I know it has not be important with how you've been acting lately." Misty says as she smiles at Alexis reassuringly.
"Okay. Misty I have feelings for you. I have for a while now and I care for you as more than my best friend. I have come to the point that I no longer want to be your friend. I want to be more than that Misty. I love seeing you smile and laugh. I love the way your face lights up when you see new things. I love showing you new things. I love being with you. But I understand if you don't want this sort of relationship. You're laughing? What's so funny?" Alexis asks as she blushes embarrassedly seeing Misty laughing.
"Oh I'm sorry Alexis. I'm not laughing at you I promise. I'm laughing because Alexis I feel the same way. I've actually been wanting to tell you that same thing. Or well not exactly in those same words but the same basic stuff anyway." Misty says as she stops laughing while smiling and blushing.
"Really?" Alexis asks as she blushes
"Yeah." Misty says happily.
"I don't know what say. Or well correction. I kinda do. Misty would you uh maybe wanna be my girlfriend?" Alexis asks curiously while blushing.
"I'd love to Alexis." Misty says before she and Alexis nuzzle each other happily.
"Aww! So cute!" A voice shouts happily revealing to be Pipp recording on her phone with the others standing near her.
"Pipp! Stop recording please!" Alexis says annoyedly.
"What? Why? You guys are so cute!" Pipp says before Zipp makes her put her phone down.
"What are you guys doing here?" Misty asks nervously.
"Izzy and Pipp told us you guys went off on your own earlier." Sunny says.
"And we kind of figured you guys were crushing on each other." Zipp says.
"So we decided to follow to see how things play out." Hitch says as he smiles.
"And we're glad we did. We got to see you two finally tell each other how you feel!" Izzy says excitedly.
"Uh guys do you uh mind?" Alexis asks.
"Oh. Sorry Alexis, Misty. We didn't mean to make you guys feel embarrassed or nervous." Sunny says.
"It's okay guys. We do appreciate you guys supporting us. But we kinda want to have some time alone." Alexis says as she smiles nervously.
"Of course. We'll let you two be." Sunny says as she smiles before leaving with the others.
"I love the others but that was not very appreciated. That kinda made my nerves go full panic." Misty says as she and Alexis smile at each other.
"Don't feel bad. Did me too honestly." Alexis says before she and Misty chuckle.
"So do you wanna maybe go get those smoothies now?" Misty asks as she smiles at Alexis happily.
"Sounds amazing. But I'm always up for any kind of adventure with you." Alexis says as she smiles at Misty.
"Me too." Misty says as she and Alexis walk off.
