Chapter 3 mum what?

God that girl has a great arm. I looked down in my hand thank god that was not blood. " ruby hey what wrong" I said slowly walking over to her. She was shaking like crazy. What have I done to her. I should of said no. I should of stopped but I couldn't control myself she is like a drug. Ruby had her head down she was not looking at me. "Ruby what wrong you can tell me anything you know that right. I promise I will not laugh. I promise I will never tell anyone." I said stopping in front of her. I reached out to grab her. I pulled her in closes, ruby put her arms around me and rested her head onto my chest. I just held her. I can feel her tears running down my body. "Ruby I will never let you go. I promise."

Blaze held me for who knows how long. But I didn't care I felt safe in his arms. "Blaze I-Im so sorry I d-didn't mean to hurt you" I said pulling out of blazes arms. Blaze wiped my tears away. "Shit blaze I I'm so sorry I didn't mean to." I said starting to laugh when I seen what I had done. "What? You did what." Blaze said looking confused. I pulled blaze into the kitchen and told him to sit. I got a packet of peas out if the freezer and placed it on blazes eye. "Shit that fucking hurts." Blaze said. "Watch your language." I said. "So are you going to tell me what just happened back there. And don't say nothing, because I know that was not nothing." Blaze said. I just shock my head. "Ruby listen we" blaze started to say before I cut in. "Blaze im tired may I please go to bed we can talk in the morning." I said trying to get out of what happened. "Okay." He said. "Ruby it's already three in the morning." Blaze added. I just turned around and walked into the spare room.

It didn't take me long before sleep took over. "Rose look at her isn't she just beautiful. She has my eyes and my nose. And of course my good looks." I said "what are you going to call her." Rose said smiling. "I was thinking of wren what do you think." I said holding my baby girl smiling. "What about Emma Wren Marten." The midwife said smiling. "I like that what about you pumpkin." Mum said. "Me too I like that a lot. Emma Wren." I said passing her back to the midwife. "Mummy where is jake and daddy." I said tiredly trying to keep my eyes opened. "Dads at home with jake. I sent him a picture of little Emma. Dad said she looks just like you pumpkin. He will be here soon. But he don't know because jake is sick and he is asleep sorry pumpkin." Mum said giving me a kiss.

"Morning sleepy head." Blaze said sitting on the side of the bed. "Who's Emma Wren and what a crap name." Blaze said laughing. I just busted into tears all over again. "Hey ruby what did I say." Blaze said pulling me into him. "Blaze can you take me into the office." I said pulling out of him while wiping my tears away. "Now blaze." I said getting up and quickly pulling on my ripped skinny jeans, and pulling over blazes top big of a jumper. Blaze jumped up walking out of the room going to get his keys.

It took half an hour to get to work. It felt longer with blaze asking me all these questions like "what's wrong. What's happening, why are you not telling me anything, is it about last night." Just stupid little questions like that. I just told him to shut up. And for the first time in a long time he did listen I was shocked. "Ruby what do you think you can just walk into the office and hack the system when everyone is looking. It's not going to work. They will fire you. You will lose your job." Blaze said. "Blaze I don't fucking care I need to find out where Emma is." I said. Oh shit I think I just said to much. No I know I said to much.

Blaze pulled over to the side of the road and turned his car off. "Ruby I am not taking you anywhere until you tell me what you seen. What's going on ruby." Blaze said turning around his hand still on the steering wheel. I just sat there looking at him. "Fucking hell ruby! What the fuck is going on. TELL ME NOW!" Blaze yelled his grip on the steering wheel getting tighter by the second his knuckles getting whiter as well. "No. No. Blaze I can't. You will leave me you will not be able to every look at me again you will think I'm a monster. No I am a monster why do you like me. Blaze, hey tell me." I said trying not to cry again. "Oh ruby no. No I will never leave you not now, not ever. I want to be with you. I love you." Blaze said cupping my face. "I can't tell you I need to show you. Please." I said looking blaze in the eyes. "Okay but promise me something." "Sure anything." I said. Still looking at him. "Make sure you alway wear my clothes, but your ripped skinny jeans. You look sexy as fuck. I could take you right now if it was not for the big secret." Blaze said ginning. I punched him in the arm and smiled. "Okay stop with the punching. God women you have an amazing arm." Blaze said turning his car back on and pulling back on the road again. "If you touch me with out me agreeing to it, your black eye will have a twin sister." I said laughing.

Walking into the office I, no sorry we go a lot of weird looks. All you could hear was "Ruby. Blaze." Or "morning" but then there was blazes mate Kyle his what you call a jerk. "Hey buddy old. Holley shit man you fucked her you fucked the old bosses daughter. What can't you keep her out of your pants now." Kyle saps grinning slapping Blaze on the back. "Nar he can't keep me out of his shirts." I said. Kyle look really confused. Why blaze why do you have to have such a dumb ass friend. "Idiot I have his shirt on." I said making it to my desk. "So what are you doing in today I got told that yours were having the day off. So what's so important then." Kyle said. I just turned around and looked at him giving him my you better shut up before I knock you out look. I think he got the memo. Blazes sat on the edge of my desk.

'Emma wren' was all I had to type up in my mothers old computer. There's millions of pictures of her. I clicked on her file. 'Emma Wren Marten. Born 05/11/11. Age 4. Siblings 0. Birth Mother Ruby Grace Marten. Father Unknown. Houses 6. Address Unknown. House Mother Unknown. House Father Unknown. Phone Number Unknown.' Unknown Unknown Unknown is all it says. I printed the file. "Ruby I..I." Blaze tried to say but was cut off by Kyle. "Holley shit man. Ruby Grace Marten. Slut Ruby. You slept with slut Ruby." Kyle said laughing. Thats what done me. The sheet of paper fell out of my hands. I turned around and grabbed Kyle by the collar of his shirt. Raising my clenched fist. Blaze caught my fist just in time. "You are so lucky Kyle, if Blaze was not here I would've beating you black and blue. Because your face was about to get a kiss from my fist. Just like blaze eye." I said letting go of Kyle. When I stepped back from Kyle I found out I have pushed him against my office wall. I picked up the sheet of paper and stormed out of my office with ablaze not far behind me.

"Where is she! I want to go see her dad. Tell me, NOW!" I said losing my temper at the end of the sentence. Dad just looked at me. "I don't know ruby." Dad said. "TELL ME! Please dad I need my little girl back. Please daddy." I said getting all upset again. "I don't know ruby!" Dad yelled. I left blaze in the car so dad don't think something is up. Blaze didn't really say much on the way he all he said was 'I'm sorry about Kyle before. And who's the father.' I don't even know that but I'm going to find out. Dad walked around to me it's Sunday so I knew he would be at this spray painting shed. "TELL ME NOW. JUSTIN I NEED TO KNOW NOW!" I yelled. That was it I had lost my temper and so had dad I have never spoken to him like that ever. And I knew he didn't like it. Dad slammed his tools down that he was folding. "You fucking dirty little brat! You think you can come in here and yell at me well no! You are wrong just because you have an FBI badge doesn't mean shit!" Dad yelled.

Dad slowly walking over to me. Crap what have I done I have never seen him this mad before. I took two steps back I tried to take another one but I couldn't he had backed me against the wall. I reached for my gun but remembered I didn't have my work uniform on. He slammed the wall right beside my head with his prams. I just looked at my shoes that was all I could do. "Look at my you piece of shit." He whispered in my ear. I looked up only to be met by his fist to my jaw. And again and again and again. One after the other he would hit me. "Ahhhhhhh" I screamed. He let go of me and I fell to the ground. "Stop" I tried to scream but nothing came out. "You fucking piece of shit, all you ever did was turn this family into shit. Your a slut, a piece of dirt, a monster, your a waste of space. Don't you ever come back home ever I don't want you going near the house or Rose or even Jake any more no one that's family. I disown you now. Piss off and never come back. Because, if you do I will be waiting and I will finish you, once and for all. You hear me fuck off!" He yelled in me ear. Before he left he kick me in the ribs twice and then I heard his footsteps leave and then the door open and close. And with that everything went black.
