Atsushi Pov:   (entire story)

I was surprised when Dazai was talking with Akutagawa outside of the agency. Akutagawa looked so happy, he even had a little smile, it felt nice to see Akutagawa smiling. I was still mad at him though for eating all the pork buns I made last night. He broke in and took them all! I was going to give them to Kyouka, since she moved into her own apartment now, but I can't because he ate them...

As I started walking again I kept glancing at Dazai and Akutagawa, it made me happy that they were hanging out but it didn't make me any less upset at Akutagawa. He glanced at me, it wasn't glare or smile, he had a neutral look on his face. I brushed it off and went home, planning to make some more pork buns.

When I opened the door Akutagawa was sitting on the kitchen counter, all the supplies for the pork buns was already out.

"Akutagawa?!".
I shouted, surprised he was here, and on my kitchen COUNTER.

"Dazai spoke to me earlier, and I decided to help you make more pork buns, to make up for the ones I took".
He said quietly, he wasn't wearing his normal outfit, it was more homely, and sleep attire like.

"Eh..? You aren't here to try and kill me?".

"No".

"Or sabotage my plans?".

"No".

"Trash my house?".

"No".

"Do anything bad?!".

"No".

"Huh.... alright then.... let me shower and I'll be right back!".
I smiled, walking to my bedroom and then into my bathroom.

When I was done I had slightly similar clothes to Akutagawa on, I was surprised when he said he wanted to help, I never expected him, out of all people, to say that.

"You ready Akutagawa?".

"Is there any way you could possibly shorten my name, you speak weird and it makes my name sound dumb".
Akutagawa mumbled, it sounded like he was thinking of an excuse for something.

"Um... okay? Is Aku fine?".
I asked, stepping into the kitchen and glancing at him. He stayed silent for a moment.

"Thats fine".
He mumbled, he avoided eye contact with me for some reason and I wasn't sure why, maybe he's plotting something?.

"Alright, lets get started before it gets too late!".
I smiled, he hopped off the counter and started helping.

When we were done Akuta- Aku, was washing his hands and I was wrapping the last one. When Aku was done I switched over to the sink, washing my hands. After a couple seconds I felt hands wrap around my waist, and a pressure on my left shoulder.

"A-".
I tried to say before getting cut off.

"Shut up, Jinko".
He grumbled, he wasn't squeezing me tight enough for it to seem like he was trying to kill me but instead... actually hug me.

After awhile I eventually some how many my way to the couch with Aku still clung onto me. I laid the pull out bed I had in my couch, out, and threw one of my throw pillows on it, along with a blanket that was on the back of my couch. I surprisingly was able to lay down, Aku was laying next to me, we were side by side, staring at each other, he was on his back though and I was on my side. I felt my face warm up as he moved the couple strands of hair out of my face and rest his hand on my cheek, his hands were warm and soft. I was surprised when he gave me a tiny little smile, me... he smiled at me. I smiled back before hugging him. He hugged me back and we fell asleep as so.
