I looked around the beautiful lit forest. I seemed to be alone. I heard the crying of a young girl. I slowly walk toward the sound. My heart stopped as the scene changed, it was of a dark alley in Phoenix. The girl crying was me at thirteen years old. I had blood seeping from between my thighs, still in the outfit I wore to school. Bella's backpack dropped on the ground when I told her to run home and get mom. Suddenly the scene changed again. I was in my room after coming home from the hospital that night. Mom was screaming at me. Saying that no one will want to put a baby in woman that was raped at the young age of thirteen. Saying that I ruined her future.

I woke up not being able to breathe. My hand clutched against my chest trying to control my breathing. A cold hand gently grabbed mine.

"Darling." Edward whispered. "Hey, your okay. It was just a nightmare."

"It wasn't a nightmare." I cried quietly burying my face in his chest. "It was a horrible memory."

"You were raped?" Edward whispered voice pained.

"Yes." I sobbed. "Please, don't tell anyone. I don't want anyone to know."

Edward held me closer to his chest while kissing my hair.

I woke up to my bedroom door opening. I groaned pulling the covers over my head. I heard dad let out a laugh yanking the blankets off of me.

"Nope, your not going back to bed." Dad says. "Happy birthday, Coco Puff."

I gave dad a small pained smile causing him to frown setting the gifts he had on my nightstand before taking a seat beside me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked. "You have dried tears on your face."

"The dream is back." I say quietly. "Of the that horrible night."

Dad quickly pulled me into his arms as I let out a whimper. He kissed hair while rocking me back and forth.

"It's alright, baby." Dad says. "He was killed in prison. He can't hurt you anymore."

"I know." I whispered. "It's just scares me still."

"Here." Dad says pulling away from me.

He hands me two presents. One was from Uncle Billy the other from Dad.

"Did we not get one from mom?" I asked with a frown.

"Bella did." Dad sighed. "She's still huffy about what you said to her in Phoenix. Said you didn't deserve to have a birthday."

"Honestly I don't care." I say. "I have you at least."

Dad smiled kissing my forehead as I unwrapped the present from Uncle Billy first. It was a beautiful howling wolf necklace that seemed vaguely familiar. I grabbed the note from the box and read it aloud.

"Happy eighteenth birthday, Coco. I thought your Aunt Sara would like you to have this necklace. It was her most prized possession."

"Sara's necklace that she always wore." Dad smiled.

" Dad smiled
