The two boys walked nervously down the hallway of the Modest! management building.
They had both been called in separately, both not really understanding why. They hadn't done anything wrong. They each had been spending their time off at their own flats, enjoying their time alone equally.
They glanced at each other, Louis giving Harry a small smile before opening the wooden door that led into the office.
"Ah, Mr. Tomlinson, and Mr. Styles. How are you today, lads?" Charlie, the head of the board asked them, as if the meeting was only casual.
"Just fine, thank you," Louis responded, and Charlie gestured for the two to take a seat. Charlie broke into a grin, and brought his cigar up to his mouth, inhaling deeply before breathing out.
"I have a preposition for you both," he spoke up, making Harry and Louis's head's look over at him.
"And what would that be?" Harry asked. He felt his brow starting to bead with sweat, but he made no effort to wipe it.
Charlie smiled broadly and leaned in closer to the boys, as if telling them a secret.
"How do you feel of the topic fake dating?" Charlie's smile upheld while the other two's dropped.
"Not very fond of it myself, mate. Why are you asking?" Harry replied. His hands became clammy, and the sweat came more fervently.
"Well you see, boys," Charlie started, "Us here at Modest! have been researching about a bromance about the two of you." Charlie switched from a smile to a smirk, and his eyes grew dark. "I have called you here today to inform you that when you leave this office you will be dating."
Louis mouth dropped open, and Harry's eyes grew ten times the normal size.
"What?"
"Louis, please do inform me how many women you have been with since the break up of you and Miss. Calder."
Louis breath hitched, and his eyes stung. He had been a little bit depressed, and had wanted to make the feelings go away..but he didn't think it had been that many. Upon review he realised that it had been quite a few.
"And Harry. We all know your label in the industry."
Harry scoffed, and refused to make eye contact. "Well if thats all, I think were done here. You two are dissmissed," Charlie told them, and gestured toward the door.
"Now wait just a min-" Louis started, but was quickly cut off.
"Look boys, I have tried to be nice about it. You two are now dating. I don't care if you don't like it. It's already been released to the public. Now as I have said before, you're dissmissed," Charlie said.
Both boys huffed, and walked out the door.
"Have a great day!" Charlie shouted as they made their way towards the front desk.
Great day indeed.
