I stare at the last text I had sent her, which was now already three months ago. I don't know why I can't stop thinking of her.

Her eyes, her God damn eyes. They can't seem to leave my thoughts, but I'm not complaining.

Going to bed I think about her. Waking up, she's the first that comes to my mind. And I don't know why. She's so pretty and I just can't seem to let her go, even though I only saw her for a couple of minutes, once in my life.

I don't know what's happening to me. I never developed such a strong attractiveness to some girl I once saw at a diner.

Damn, I never developed any attachment this strong to any girl I've been with.

And the thought of her not wanting me back, somehow makes me want her even more.

I groan, closing my phone and pulling the sheets of my barely naked body. I get up and make my way to the bathroom.

After taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth, I put on some clothes and take my phone out of the charger, making my way downstairs.

Checking the few messages I got from my hockey team, I walk towards the kitchen.

I turn off my phone as soon as I hear little footsteps sprint towards the kitchen. I smile, bringing myself to my knees already.

Little barks make my smile wider as Rex jumps on me. I laugh, hugging the big dog. I pet his head for another time before getting back up again.

"Good morning big one," I smile at him whilst walking towards the counter. He barks another time while jumping this time as well.

As soon as his breakfast is finished I start walking towards the other side of the aisle and squad down once again.

I bring both my index finger and middle finger up, signaling for him to do another jump. "Jump!" I tell him before he does as told.

"Good boy." I laugh as he takes the treat I gave him.

Letting go of his bowl, I make my way back to the kitchen as I start preparing my own breakfast.
