** Prologue **
As she lies there awake with only the soothing voice of Austin Carlile softly playing in the background, Annabel-Lee begins to cry. She thinks to herself, Today wasn't any better than yesterday. Why did it have to be her.?
She was abandoned as a child at the age of three. Left at a park across the street from the courthouse in Keyser, West Virginia. Afterwards, she was adopted by a, once loving, couple names Mary-Anne and Andy Watsonn. At first, Annabel was happy with her life, but then again, every three year kid is happy. Andy began drinking and beating on his wife. Mary-Anne, a shy woman, didn't know what to do. She was afraid to leave her deadbeat of a husband, so she dealt with the pain and suffering.
When Annabel was growing up, that's all she lived with. A drunken father and an afraid mother. By the age of thirteen, Annabel gave up. She quit trying to be happy, and she didn't care what people thought about her anymore.
This is the story of a girl named Annabel-Lee Watsonn.
