The Date

I stared at myself in the mirror, examining my outfit. A dark, denim jacket, a white shirt with ruffles under, black leggings, and a simple, black pair of TOMS. My orange hair fell from my scalp like flames in a wood stove. I let out a deep sigh, rubbing the back of my neck. I had to say, didn't look too bad. But what woud I care, even if I didn't? I was going on a date with Louis Tomlinson, just so that he would leave me alone. Nothing special at all, but my mother had lways reminded me to look good,no matter the ocassion. Just then, a loud knock ran through my house.

Oh Jesus.

"Wish me luck, mum." I muttered under my breath, peering up at the sky. Grabbing my phone and my wallet, I scurried down the carpeted stairs, to see my Dad on our couch, drinking away his feelings.

You see, ever since my mum had...passed....he had been depressed. He would drink until we had no beer left, and then take his anger out on the first thing he saw. That thing was usually me.

"Uh, seeya Dad." I mumbled, scurrying past him.

"Be back by 10:00." He slurred. Was he already that drunk? I shook my head ashamed of what he had become. Another knocking had taken my focus off of him.

"Coming!" I called out. I grabbed my white beanie off of the coat hanger, putting it on. Letting out a deep breath, I saw Louis, obviously. He was wearing a light brown coat with a red shirt under, a black beanie alike mine, black skinny jeans, and white converse. He was smiling with a sparkle in his eyes. His hair didn't look too diffrent then when he was at school, but, he actually looked...nice.Handsome, even. I gave him a small smile, slowly shutting the door behind me.

"You look lovely, babe." He whispered, caressing my cheek. I shut my eyes, trying to go to my happy place. I still moved back a bit like last time. "You're so tense." I shook my head, chuckling a bit.

"No offence, but this isn't exactly what I would like to be doing right now." I told him, staring down at the damp wood deck."Oh, and you don't look too bad yourself." He just laughed, taking my hand. I tried, but failed at removing my grip from his.

Damn, he was strong.

He led me to his car, which I was very suprised to see.

"Y-you drive a Porsche?!" I asked, atonished. He nodded proudly, putting an arm around my shoulders. I tensed up.

"Loosen up,dear."He reminded me, opening the passenger door for me. Ugh. Those nicknames made me feel as if he thought that he had power over me. I steadily got in, sitting down and buckling myself in, Louis doing the same just a moment after me. Pulling out of the driveway, I found mysellf staring at Louis. I had never noticed, but he was pretty good looking. And jesus, his jawline could cut diamonds!

"Hey, Allie, take a picture, it might last longer." He chuckled, looking towards me with a wink. My face got hot, quickly turning my gaze to the car floor. I could hear laughter erupt from Louis, as I covered my face in embarrasment.

"Aww! Don't hide from me, babe!" He chuckled. I hadn't even noticed that we had parked, but when I looked up, I found myself facing a forest. I turned my gaze to face Louis.

"W-where are we, Louis?'' I asked, a bit scared of his answer. He raised his eyebrows.

"Follow me." Is all he said, scurrying out of the car, going to my side and opening the door, grabbing my hand, and leading me in to the forest. His grip was once again quite strong, but so far, as much as I hated to admit it, I wasn't as bad as thought it would be.

It was starting to get darker, and Louis still hadn't brought me to the place that he despretly wanted to show me. We had been talking, mostly about Louis' life.

"So, why did you exactly move from Doncaster to here in Manchester?" I asked. We were quite a distance away from eachother in the woods, but the distance was linked by our hands, wrapped around eachother, swinging back and fourth.Louis thought for a moment.

"My mum didn't like Doncaster very much." He stated. "Shes not here now, shes out on a buisness trip, as is my father." I nodded, as Louis eyes widened.

"There!" He exclaimed excitedly, pointing with his one free hand. Following his hand, I found myself staring at a magnificent treehouse. It actually looked like a real house, only wood, smaller, and that it was in a tree..

"You like it?" Louis asked, leading me up in to the woodsy house.

"Its pretty damn cool." I chuckled, placing my hand on the wood wall beside me, feeling the smoothness of it against my fingertips. I stopped for a moment, slowly turning over to Louis, my mouth in the shape of a small "o" .

"Did you make this?!" I asked, a bit impressed. Louis simply nodded, placing his arm around my waist. Jesus, he was touchy-feely. He lead me inside, which didn't have much in it at all, just three bean-bag chairs, a table, a mini fridge, a projecter and a screen to project stuff on.

"Care to watch the Notebook with me?" Louis asked, his touch leaving mine for the first time that we had entered the forest. I nodded, sitting in the bean bag chair furthest from him. He let out a deep sigh, moving himself to the one beside me.

"Don't be difficult, love." He whispered, his voice almost growling. I rolled my eyes, checking the time on my phone.

8:43 PM

Just two more hours. Two more..

I had snuggled up next to Louis, sipping on some tea that he had made (yes, he also had a kettle in the treehouse.). For some odd reason, my eyes were drooping more than usual, and with each sip, I was getting more and more tired. I actually had to lean against him.

"Tired, love?" Louis asked, pulling a strand of my firey orange hair out of my face and behind my ear. He had fixtated his sea blue eyes on mine, a small smirk spread across his face. He almost looked...pleased?

"J-just...a bit.." I mumbled. What was wrong with me?! I usually didn't get this tired until it was like, 3:00 in the morning! Louis propped my head onto his lap, softly humming an all too familier tune, that I couldn't quite remember since my thoughts were so clouded. Something by The Fray, I beleive.

"Go to sleep, Boo." He cooed. I softly and slowly shook my head.

"G-gotta...go..home..10:00..." I mumbled out. My eyes couldn't stay open much longer. I felt almost weightless. Maybe because Louis was slowly picking me up, dotting my face with kisses.

"Shhh. Don't worry about that." He whispered. Wait a minute. What would my Dad say about this?! He would probably punish me, then again, he would've done that anyways.

"My..Dad.." I tried to mumble it out; explain what would happen if he didn't bring mr home, or make sure I stayed up to go home awake. But alas, soon, the darkness of sleep blanketed me, and I was engulfed in it.

Thank goodness that it was a Friday.
