(Kaitlyn's POV)
Fridays are always my favorite day of the week. For two reasons. I had football games to cheer at and it was the weekend, pretty much. I was getting my cheer bag out of my locker when my friend, Nicole, comes up to me;
"Hey Kaitlyn! Any plans after the game?" Nicole smiled.
"I'm not sure. I think someone already asked to hang though."
"Let me know, okay?" And off she went.
Nicole has been a pretty close friend for almost a year now. But high school changed for me when my best friend, Niall, left to be with his band. I talk to him a lot though, so I guess that's a good thing, right?
I suppose I should tell you a little about myself. I'm Kaitlyn and I'm 17 years old. I grew up in the care of my father. As my mother passed away when I was 7 in a car crash. My dad was an orphan for the first 11 years of his life until my grandmother, Elise, adopted him. My dad ended remarrying when I was 9 and that gave me a beautiful little sister, named Victoria. Victoria is actually 8 now. Her mother has been a great woman to me. And that's Laura. Laura made up for the mother figure missing in my life and she wasn't the 'I hate you' step-parent. She was absolutely amazing.
When I was a freshman in high school, I met this guy named Niall. We never dated because I'm truthfully scared to fall in love with someone. But, Niall and I got along really well. Soon it turned into texting every second of the day, even in class. We hung out a lot too. One day, he told me he was going to try out for the X-Factor. I was so proud of him when he made it. He called me a short while after saying he lost but he’s in a band. I was ecstatic. I’ve met his band members. They’re very funny and are easy to get along with. Liam always teases us, saying that we’re a couple. Niall knows how much I hate that too.

Taking one last sip from my pink water bottle, Nicole came up behind me. Resulting in a startled scream;
“Kaitlyn, you didn’t tell me you were hanging with Niall.” She frowned.
My eyes widened and the water I was drinking spat from my mouth. My stomach began to turn. I forgot all about him.
“How did you find out?” I asked with a shuffled sigh.
“He’s in his car and he signaled me over to him. Why did you just tell me?” Nicole grasped my forearm.
“I-I know you don’t like him.” I clamped my eyes shut.
Her hand dropped to her side and she wrapped her arms around me. Ever since she found out that we were friends, she always acted negatively when I spoke about him. Once I pried her arms from my body, I made my way to find Niall’s car, and once I found it, I spoke;
“I thought I was driving to your house?” I leaned in his window.
“Well, I got anxious.” He smiled.
“Follow me home, okay?” I said, shaking my head with a smile.
“Alright.” Niall started up his car.

I was hiding one secret from everyone. That Niall and I are friends with benefits. You see, I don’t want to be in a relationship so we agreed on something that didn’t make me uncomfortable. I was fixing my eyeliner when someone knocked on the bathroom door;
“Yes?” I shouted.
“It’s just me, are you almost done?” He whined.
“Calm down. You aren’t going to die. The last time was Wednesday.” I laughed.
“I know but you’re making me wait on purpose.” Niall said with a sad tone.
My hand took the doorknob and turned it. Niall’s face lit up when I opened the door. His hand slipping into mine, we headed towards my bedroom. The second we got in there, he started stripping off as if his life depended on it. When he was finished with himself, he undressed me. It didn’t take very long for us to reach climax.
