Seo Yeon's pov
I pondered why he called it a date when we were here to look for a house. I looked up to see the scattered sunlight shining through the trees. After waiting a few minutes, he came running toward me. He wore his customary black shirt and blue denim jeans, looking handsome as always.
"Seo Yeon, can we go?"
"Are you going to buy a house? What's the reason, or are you looking for others?" I asked, glancing at him. We walked into the house to look around.
"Why are you asking so many questions?"
"Answer me, Kook."
He handed me a cherry tartade. I took a sip, looking at him eagerly for an answer.
"I am going to buy it for our kids," he said, and I choked on my drink. I coughed hard, looking at him in disbelief.
"What did you say?" I gawked at him.
"I was just joking around. Why the look? We are here to help Yoongi find a house. He is too lazy to find one for himself, so he asked for my help," he said, then started walking, leaving me dumbfounded.
"Seo Yeon, stop thinking about your future with me. We are here to help Yoongi," he said.
"Stop with your nonsensical talk, Jungkook. It pisses me off," I said with a sneer. I pushed him aside and started to walk away. He checked the listing that the agent sent.
We reached the apartment, and he unlocked the door. The living room was big and spacious. An elegant chandelier was hung in the center, and intricate architecture exuded an air of sophistication. The bedroom had a large balcony, where we could see the view of the afternoon city, bustling and shining under the sky. It was a perfect view to see when one wakes up, which rejuvenates one's energy.
I wondered if I would get to see such a view with Jungkook in the future. He slipped his hand around me in a side hug, pulling me closer. His large, doe eyes sparkled, and his chiseled jawline made it hard for me to look away. He waved his hand in front of me, snapping me out of my trance. I pulled him toward me and, on tiptoes, planted a kiss on his jawline. He smiled warmly, holding me tighter.
"Are you enjoying the view?"
"Yeah, it's beautiful."
"I know I am handsome, and you love me," he teased, ruffling my hair playfully. I just rolled my eyes at him.
"This house looks great, but the price will probably be high, I guess," I said.
"I sent the pictures of this house, but he is not happy with them. Meanwhile, Yoongi is dozing there and instructing us," he said.
"Let's go to the next house," I said, and we both reached the suburban area, where the houses were affordable and convenient for transportation. He stepped out of the car and crossed the street, leaving me to wait for him. He bought us ice cream and passed it to me as he slid into the seat.
"I want to taste your melon-flavored ice cream," he said. I gave him my ice cream, but he pushed me backward against the window as he leaned forward and kissed me. I could taste his mild corn-flavored ice cream and my melon ice cream mixing.
