Ruikasa: you'll be the death of me

Confession?

Tsukasa has looked at Rui in a romantic way for two entire years. Everyone knows this Nene, Emu, hell even Saki know. He thought he made it obvious enough for Rui, guess he was wrong cause their still 'just friends'. High school is almost over for them( by almost over he means two years), so even if Rui says no it wont matter cause they won't have to see each other in the same class.

Tsukasa has this all planned out. First he will ask Rui to come to his house after school, second he confesses his love to him and hopes he says yes and doesn't hate him forever, third they watch a movie and maybe kiss, well, Tsukasa doesn't mind if they don't kiss today they can always wait.

"Hey Rui?" Tsukasa says putting his hand on the purple haired boy. "Oh! Good morning Tsukasa, was there something you needed?" He asks. "wanna come to my house after school?" He smiles blushing slightly.

Tsukasa could die of happiness as he walks away. Rui kamishiro is going to his house? Like actually? Was he just messing with him?

"There is absolutely no way Rui doesn't like you." He hears a voice behind him say. " Oh hey Mizuki!" He says waiting for them to catch up to him. "You really think that?" He asks scratching the back of his neck. "Of course I do!" They say elbowing his shoulder. "Remember when you and Rui dated-" Tsukasa says until he gets cut off my Mizuki. " God don't remind me" They say giving Tsukasa a death glare. "Soooo when are you gonna ask him out?" They ask trying to change the subject. "After school" he sighs. "Oh, good luck bro" they say walking up to An.

Well, it's after school now. Rui walked with Tsukasa today and now he's fumbling his keys trying to open the door. " What do you want to do?" Rui asks as Tsukasa finally manages to open the door. "Well...I don't have any homework so we could do anything." God Tsukasa should have worded that differently. "We could work on that script or watch a movie?" Rui suggests. They both decide a movie would be nice so they both get whatever garbage they can find in Tsukasa's room to eat during the movie.

"Do you think their gonna die?" Rui whispers. "I don't know, maybe" Tsukasa shrugs. This would be the perfect time to ask! Him and Rui are literally sharing a blanket! "Hey Rui can we talk?" Tsukasa whispers. " what is it my star?" Rui teases. "I like you! Not like a friend but I like like you!" Tsukasa says replaying his words in his head trying to figure out if he made sense. "I....like you too" Rui whispers, his voice way softer then before. Then Tsukasa does something kinda risky and holds Rui's hand. To his surprise, Rui doesn't pull his hand away. Instead, he intertwines their fingers smiling at the shorter boy. "Are we dating now? Tsukasa asks. "Maybe" Rui smiles.

Tsukasa's heart fluttered at Rui's words. He had a boyfriend! And it's one of his best friends? That's amazing! He was so happy in that moment he could scream.

Tsukasa trapped Rui in a tight hug not planning on ever letting go. " Awwww, how cute" Rui whispers putting his chin on Tsukasa's shoulder. Rui and Tsukasa finished their movie and finished some homework they had to do. At around 6pm it was time for Rui to go home for dinner.

"Bye" Tsukasa says opening the door for him

"Bye my star~" Rui replies smiling slightly at the boy.
