If you want to understand the story better, you should read this. I'm gonna make this like a Timeline, so I can go through this faster.
For as long as time, humans, and anthropomorphics, always hated each other, fights, battles, wars, it settled down by the 70's but it was still pretty bad, just because they were different, not all humans trusted the anthropomorphics, or didn't treat them correctly, which caused some of them to be hunted, the hunt stopped by the 80's, but some anthro's had already retreated back into the woods and made communities, instead of living in the city.
1985
Fredbear starts Fredbears Family Diner
1986
William Afton proposes an idea to Fredbear
William Afton and Fredbear Fazbear became official business partners.
They create animatronics with springlock mechanisms.
1987
WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87!? ( just to clarify this is not Williams son he doesn't have kids or even a wife yet)
Fredbear loses a lot of money
William Afton is disappointed
Fredbear and William go their separate ways
1988
Fredbear plans to reopens the diner but with a new name Freddy Fazbears Grand Reopening
Fredbear partners with Shep Wool to make more advanced animatronics
They make new Characters such as: Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Toy Foxy
1989
They create more advanced AI's for the animatronics
They officially reopen Freddy Fazbears
They all look much more friendly then the springlock suits and they could free-roam
The public took this great
1988 Williams Perspective
The bite victim died in the hospital, which sparked an idea in Williams head
He catches wind of Fredbears new plan
Wiliam afton quite angry at this, decides that maybe he could one up Fredbear, as payback for using Williams own idea
He finds out that Remnants of souls could be used to make inanimate objects come to life
He thinks of new Sleek animatronic designs to test on
He decides to use some of Fredbears Character ideas ( Which is why Funtime Foxy looks like Toy Foxy )
He creates the Funtime Models and specifically designs them to lure in children, to make more tests ( complete with voice imitation technology and stomach hatches to capture kids )
1990 Fredbears Perspective
Business is booming
Fredbear creates merchandise
The public now really enjoys this new idea
Multiple criminals have been stopped with this new tech
1990 Williams Perspective
