TW!! Needles, being chained down all that crap, I can't write trigger warnings properly sorry

The sun dimly shone through the barred window as she woke up, stretching her arms as she glanced around the room. She walks, like in autodrive and scratches another line in the wall, not remembering what those lines where for, only that there are at least a few thousand of them. Ari stared up at the wall and sighed, it felt like she's done this many times before, like it's instinct, wake  up, mark the wall follow the guard that comes to receive her, and do what they say. She looks down at her scarred hand, scratches, cuts and pricks from needles cover it making small patterns that you can only see if you imagine them being there, Ari likes to trace them with her finger, making little pictures out of them while she was bored. A knock on the door brought her attention away from her arms, standing up like she had done many times before and walks to the middle if the room, wings shuffling uncomfortably in the bounds that binded them to her back so she had no way of escaping. She tapped her tail on the floor twice and the guard walked in, she had no idea what was happening, or how she knew what to do, she just did, she stood there watching as the tall guard walked over, cuffed her hands together and led her out of the room.

The hall was dark, barely any light shone from the lanterns that hung from the roof and the walls were a dark brown colour and stained with blood. Ari was dragged through the long hallways, wincing whenever the guard pulled a bit too rough. She was dragged into a familiar room, yet not familiar enough, the lights were dimmed above the long table that lay in front of her, which she was forced to lie upon as the guards chained her down. More people slowly filled the room, none of them paying any attention to the young bird on the table as they set up equipment around her, all wearing lab coats that were stained a slight red from blood, some of it most likely her own. somthing was placed over her mouth that she can breathe through as the other scientists started to attach different machines to her, some beeping while others showed different graphs that she did not know what they were for. She struggled in the binds holding her down, trying to move away from the scientist that was holding a long needle full of black liquid and had started injecting it into her arm, the liquid staining her veins black as her body slowly starts shaking and she yelps in pain. A tall man walked in, his hands held behind his back and his black hair combed back, he looked more superior than the rest, standing with a tall stature and looking down soon the rest of the scientists. He looks at Ari, slight sadness inevitable in his eyes before they go blank once more as he looked down at her. After a while of monitoring the others and ignoring the avians cries of pain, he finally kneels down and holds her hand gently, something that he didn't seem the type of doing,

"It will be ok little bird, this is all for the greater good" he whispered into her ear, forcing her to relax. He untied one of her wings, spreading it out on the table and running his hand through the soft feathers making her shiver. He then slowly takes a few feathers from it before enjecting more chemicals into it, Ari tearing up as pain suddenly spread through her whole body.

"Good girl" he said as he smiles down at her and slowly put the dann samples into a plastic container and put it aside. Ari lay there in pain for another few minutes before the scientists finally untied her and forced her to stand as the guard, that stayed outside just in case, cuffed her hands back up and started dragging her back to her cell, lying her on the bed and walking out. She lay there, curled up in a ball as the room slowly went dark again untill she passed out
