Arthur had Beth drive back to the Burrow after picking up the kids.

"It'll help you avoid any prying questions," he had told her.

It didn't entirely work however.

"How come she gets to drive," one of the twins had asked.

"Yea," the other interjected lifting the last of the suit cases into the trunk and climbing in. "You never let us drive."

"Last time you two drove, you had stollen the car," Molly said getting in the front seat with Beth. Arthur sat in the back with the kids. "And had been seen by muggles if I recall."

"We were getting Harry!" the twins said at the same time. Beth let a little smile play on her face.

"I don't care what it was for. You two are never driving again!" Molly said.

After Beth pulled into the Burrow, Arthur dragged her away into his workshop. She was currently teaching him how to use a radio and it's purpose. He had recently decided to take the thing apart and see if they could put it back together. The weasley kids however, unpacked their school trunks and helped Molly with dinner.

"Mom who is she? What is she doing here?" Ron asked setting plates down the table. Everyone went silent again and looked at Molly. Molly looked at them. "Why couldn't you tell us at the station or in the car?

"We will talk when Beth and your father come in for dinner," Molly said and went back to stirring the stew.

"So she does have a name?" Fred said.

"Of course she has a name!" Molly exclaimed.

"Well we weren't sure. You three are being so secretive," Ginyy told her.

"Just go get them from the garage will you?" Molly snapped slightly.

Ginny and her siblings gave each other a knowing look. A look that said, "geez, we just want to know what's going on... no need to get snappy". George left the kitchen and headed out to the garage.

"Dad!" he called out.

"Yes?" Arthur yelled back.

"Mum said to come in for dinner!"

"We will be there in a minute!" George could here them going back to whatever it was they were working on. He scoffed and smiled to himself. How could she have as much interest in something as his father did? He peaked inside and couldn't help but find it cute. The site of them both hunched over this microphone and box with a dozen dials and a bunch of tools surrounding them. A small spark came from the box and a Beth let out a small yelp.

"You all right?" Arthur asked concerned. Beth only nodded and started laughing.

"Yeah, it just scared me," she said unable to control her laughter. What a beautiful sound, George thought before going back inside and finishing setting the table. Molly dished out the strew.

"It's about time," Molly said as the door opened and Beth and Arthur stepped inside.

"Sorry we got a little carried away," Arthur said giving his wife a kiss on the cheak and sitting at the head of the table.

"A little carried away? More like had to put out a fire," Beth laughed while sitting next to him.

"A fire!" Molly yelled. "Arthur I told you to be careful if you where going to bring work home!"

"It wasn't that big! Just a spark," Arthur said quickly while dishing out his plate. Molly gave him a side eye before taking her own seat.

Molly, Arthur, and Beth started digging in but the rest of the kids sat there staring at them.

"Well don't be shy," Arthur said looking at them. "You must me hungry."

"We want to know what's going on," Ron said. Beth paused and stared at her plate. Everything felt so perfect this past few months. She felt at home with the Weasleys. She felt safe. Safe from the fear of what some of the wizards would do if they found out she was here. Dumbledore and Fudge were putting together an announcement but it wasn't ready yet. Not for another week. She trusted them and she trusted that they could keep her safe and put the majority fot he wizards on her side but her anxiety often got the best of her.

"I'll leave you to talk," Beth said standing up.

"You don't have to do that," Molly said. "Please stay."

"No," Beth said feeling a little awkward. " I'll let you tell them." The kids looked between each other confused. "I'm going to go to the lake for a swim."

Beth grabbed a towel on the table next to the door and headed out. The kids followed her gaze and then turned their attention to their parents, waiting for their explanation.

Arthur dived into the story. Explaining how Beth got here, how they didn't know why, how Fudge and Dumbledore were tyring to figure out how to tell people, and how Dumbledore came to them and asked to give the Weasleys to give her shelter.

"Another time period?" Ginny asked.

"Possibly another dimension. One without magic," Arthur said.

"How is that possible?" Fred asked.

"That's what we are trying to figure out. Now look. No one can know she is here. Dumbledore and Fudge are going to release the news to the public next week but in the mean time you cannot mention this to ANYONE. Not Harry, Hermione, Lee. No one. Do you understant me? There are going to be people who will want to hurt her. People like the Malfoys who believe that muggleborns shouldn't be apart of our world," Arthur told them seriously.

"Why are they releasing it to the public at all then?" Ron asked.

"She will be attending Howarts with you. The ministry will be sending researchers to work with Dumbledore to find out why and how she got here. Hogwarts will be the safest place. They just need one more week to put the security measures in place. Just promise me that you won't say anything to anyone that she's here." Arthur told them.

They all nodded in agreement. George looked out the window to see the bruinet sitting on the dock of their small lake. He couldn't help but think about what was going on in her head.
