On the road to australia

I get up from a bed, cover with a soft cotton blanket. While tip-toeing past all the beer cans I step on a necklace. It is a locket and as I open it my heart sinks. It is a picture of Skylar with a girl beside him and they are kissing. On the other side of the locket there is a very small note saying: Dear sky, I can't wait until that dumbass of a girlfriend leaves for Australia so I can be yours, By the way your ass looks nice in those football shorts.......they'd look better on my floor. From Isabelle. Isabelle was always a bitch to me but I never thought she would go as far as stealing my boyfriend. FYI Isabelle Meyer is the schools meanest and most ruthless girl in the school. I am popular and she is popular and we both have hated each other since we were younger. Anyways I throw the locket out of the window because......why not?

It is the day that I leave for Australia and to be honest I'm not excited. Skylar drives me to the airport and walks me in and the whole time I avoid eye contact because obviously I'm pissed at him because he's basically cheating on me. "Yo what's up with you" Sky says as he bring me through the terminal to the boarding station. I stay silent as I leave his side and stand where I am supposed to enter the plane and I turn to face him. "Babe don't you worry, someday I'll find you" he say with a certain look. " Not if Isabelle has anything to say about that" I say and turn to walk into the plane, only taking a glance at his reaction; poor poor child, he's so confused.......ah well he did ask for it and he'll soon realise what he has done to me.
I sit in my assigned seats that are beside my mom. She already got on the plane without me? Well isn't she the best?.......not. "Hey honey are you excited?????" My mom asks. " As long as you leave me alone I will be" i cheekily replied. My phone was going crazy so I decided to take it out of my pocket to see who in the world was texting me. Sky <3 6 missed calls. "Miss I'm sorry but phones should not be used at this moment" one flight attendant says. " Wasn't planning to" I mutter. I plug in my headphones and look through some songs on my phone, I find Daylight by 5sos so I play it and sit back in my seat.

The song is interrupted by the pilots voice, "good evening everybody, it is currently 10pm Australian time and is 37 degrees Celsius. We will be landing in about 4 hours so sit tight. A flight attendant will be handing out blankets and pillows. Enjoy the flight." Soon enough a very young looking flight attendant hands me and mom a blue blanket with matching pillows and I decide to sleep for a bit. I move around trying to find a comfortable place to sleep and eventually I drift off into a nice deep sleep.

"Alex!!!!! Get up the plane has landed!!" I hear a voice yell. "what?" I say a bit dazed. "I said get up!!!" Mom shouts. "oh sorry" I say getting up and having a look around. Empty, the plane was empty. One of the first things I noticed was that we weren't flying anymore but that we were in the airport. "Honey we are in Australia!!!!! Oh my god we are going to have so much fun!" My mother exclaims as she walks down the steps of the airplane. A man in a blue suit stands in front of us and asks "are you Mrs. Dawson?" And my mom says "uh yeah?". "Yes well joe is waiting for you in Sydney so I shall be your chaffeur for your entire stay in Australia" he says gleefully. "But mom I thought we were staying here for like ever?" I whispered. Mom the mouths a we are to me and I just nod.
The man who apparently is named Martin, drove us up to a huge mansion. Now I mean it was twice the size of our beach house. A man with an unbuttoned shirt greeted us, "Hello Maria and you must be Alex, Alex you may not know me but I'm Robert Delamere....I'm your mothers new boyfriend and one of the reasons you are here." he says as in pride. Just then I was about to jump at him and claw him to death, when a boy about my age walked out from behind him. He had wavy brown hair and green eyes. "Hey I'm Logan" he says with a smile. If I weren't as confident, I would have immediately had a crush on him but he's a bit too nice. "Hi I'm Alexis but you can call me Alex if you want" I reply, I might as well be nice since after all he probably is going to be my brother.
We walk into the house and we get a tour: Kitchen, living room with a plasma TV, Pool and a huge room in which Robert called my room. I jump onto the huge waterbed and lie there for a while, there is a sliding door and behind that is the garden and the pool! Right outside my door!! Rushing to my suitcase I pull out my bikini, get into it as fast as I can and jump into the pool. Soon enough Logan gets in too. I lay there floating just thinking of how wonderful this will be.
