The day started like normal for the team members of the FBI specifically the behavioral analysis unit. Sounds of the rustling of papers could be heard slightly as people talked it sounded quite like a cafeteria but that all changed when Penelope Garcia technical analysis of the FBI entered the precinct with her usual flair and style specifically the main area where Spencer, Morgan, Emily, JJ, Rossi, Tara and Luke where currently occupied with other pressing matters.
Garcia's bright and vibrant personality lit up the room. A pair of trendy shades sat atop her head, completing the look and adding to her unique sense of style as she walked in she informed the team on a case. The ticking of the clock was the only indicator of passing time "The BAU has been called to assist with the series of murders that are taking place in Redfield" The clicking of the remote can be heard throughout the room as Garcia changes the slide to show a series of crime scene photos "the details of these homicides are particularly gruesome In each case, the victims were found with multiple stab wounds and puncture marks, the kind you would see from a sharp object like a kitchen knife. Additionally, all of the victims have been young women, around the age of twenty to thirty." Garcia shivers slightly. "So far, there's no sign of DNA or fingerprints at the scenes, which tells us that the killer is careful and calculated" a young man wearing a signature tailored suit and tie known as Spencer Reid stated as his eyes glazed over the case file while he listened intently on the latest case briefing in order to find out more behavioral patterns that this new unsub has. "That's what makes this case so troubling. It's also why we need to act quickly and work together, to ensure that we catch the killer before they strike again." Garcia finished "Wheels up in 30" could be heard as the briefing finished. "Spencer, JJ go communicate with the police and see what they know...Luke, Tara go visit the previous crime scenes meanwhile Rossi and I will interrogate the family and potential witness' for any clues." Emily ordered . Once they landed in an area close to Redfield they began doing their designated assignments for the investigation.
Emily and Rossi are in a room that only contains a table and a chair which separates the witness from them the room itself is dull with different variations of grey and black nevertheless the witness was standing out in their blond hair and green shirt after a moment of silence Rossi spoke up "where going to try a cognitive interview I want you to close your eyes and tell me what you see" the girl named Allie shut her eyes with a sigh as she began talking. "The birds were loud in the park i-i was sitting on the bench when I heard someone shout.. I wasn't sure if they were okay so I made sure to glance in their direction, you know?" she paused slightly hesitating "I saw a rather tall person who appeared to be at least 6' pull out some form of identification however i'm not sure what type it seemed official though.. the victim quieted down after that so i looked away but I heard a scream moments after that.." she uttered glazing down at the table as she fidgeted with her hands. Emily raised an eyebrow clearly intrigued by this new set of information she reached into her pocket and showed her FBI ID "did it look something like this?" she questioned ,Allie nodded.
Garcia sat at her office which was riddled with stuffed animals and toys which reminded her about the good in the world, however her mind seemed to wonder no matter how hard she tried to concentrate on making food. Garcia stood in the kitchen smelling noodles and fries in the background however that didn't distract her from the muffled yells of her parents arguing in the other room she decided to scrub the dishes harder as the glistening water fell in between the plates assisting her with the current task but their voices just got louder. She wasn't sure why they were so mad all the time, but it seemed like nothing ever made them happy. The fighting started when she was really young, but now it felt like that was all she knew. She knew she was supposed to be a good kid and make her parents proud, but that wasn't always easy with all the yelling in the house. She couldn't wait to leave. Garcia heard a muffled voice as she looked around. She was back in her apartment when the cat named Sergio was staring at her intently. She laughed as her hand glides over the soft and shiny fur, her fingers carefully run through the strands, sending a comforting and calming signal throughout the cat's body. The cat visibly relaxes into the touch, showing its comfort and security. The person continues to pet the cat, enjoying the calming sensation of fur against the skin and the sense of connection with the cat.
Spencer was going through something similar this case he was working on currently was causing him to reminisce on his teenage memories Spencer remembers spending many hours in his room as a teenager, feeling like an outsider and trying to make sense of the world. He was always thinking and questioning everything, wondering why he didn't fit in, why he had to be a parent to his mother and make the decision to send her to a facility at only 18. He could never understand why he felt so alone and withdrawn from the world, and it caused him to become increasingly isolated and withdrawn. As the years passed, Spencer found himself sinking deeper and deeper into darkness, struggling to make sense of his life and feeling disconnected from the world around him but that all changed when he met the BAU it felt like a family to him it made him feel happy, safe as well as hopeful.
