Y/ns pov

-the next day after school-

I walked over to the Atons house and as soon as I opened the door, Elizabeth was already dragging me to her room. "Wait just a second. Can I put my stuff down?" "No, cause if you go out there, Michael's gonna steal you from me!" I laughed and went to her room.

A few minutes later I heard a knock on the front door. I ran downstairs and answered and saw a man in his mid-thirties. "Hello, you're Y/n right?" I nodded quickly. "I'm Henry Emily, William told you were gonna watch Charlie and Sammy for the day." "Sure," I replied. He nodded and left. "We should go to the park!" Charlie said while grinning at Elizabeth.

Sammy and Evan nodded as well. "Sure let's go!" I said. We walked to the park and I sat down on a bench when we got there. I went over a few rules and let the kids play. Michael sat down next to me and smiled. We sat there for 10-15 minutes when we heard crying.

I ran over to Elizabeth and the others. I saw Elizabeth on the ground crying. "Hey what happened?" I said with concern. "They pushed me off the swings," she said through gasps. "Who did?" She pointed across the field to a group of teen boys. "Them," "Come here let's get you cleaned up,"

I felt a hand on my back and I turned around to see a boy about 17 years old. "You should tell your kid to stop bawling her ass out. You're to damn pretty to be taking care of so many kids. Why don't you come hang out with me?" He grabbed my waist pulling me toward him. All the sudden, Michael came outta nowhere and tackled him to the ground. "Don't touch her!" He threatened with fist ready to aim.

The boy got up and ran after his friends. "Are you ok?" Mike said, his anxiety showing though his eyes. "I'm alright," I helped clean Elizabeth up and then asked the kids what they wanted to eat. "Can we get burgers?" Evan asked. I nodded and let Mike lead the way to the restaurant. After we ate, we made it back home and Henry came to pick up his kids. He gave me twenty dollars!

I sat on the couch, utterly exhausted, when Evan asked me to sit with him in his bed for a few minutes to help him sleep. I sat on the floor next to his bed and held his hand. After a few minutes we both passed out.

Michael's pov

I walked around the house trying to find Y/n when I saw her. She was passed out in Evans room holding his hand. I smiled and left the room. I sat on the couch watching my favorite show, the immortal and the restless. After a few hours, I heard footsteps and I turned around to see Y/n walking towards me.

"Hey," she whispered "I'm gonna stay here for the night can I sleep out here?" She yawned. "Do you wanna sleep on the couch?" She nodded. I nodded back and went to go grab her some pillows and blankets. She accepted them and then passed out.
