Staci - Straight (she/her)
Her parents argue in the house. But when they're out and about they are just compulsive liars

Dakota - Bisexual (she/they)
Parental issues. Her mom cheats on her dad a lot and she can't come out to them bc they're not homophobic. They just don't want their kid to be gay.
After ROTI she and Sam try to find a cure for her mutant state, and she gets semi-normal

B - Gay, trans-masc, demiboy (any prns)
His parents are supportive but leave him alone most of them time

Dawn - Enbian, agender (they/them or they/she and neopronouns)
She was abandoned by her parents in the woods and she just grew up there

Sam - Straight, ally (he/him)
His parents leave him alone too much. They care about his brother more

Brick - Gay (he/him)
Scared to come out and is relieved that he's in the army so he doesn't have to deal with his shitty parents. He met Rodney in training, but they got split up. Which made Brick sad because he had a crush on Rodney

Anne Maria - Straight, ally (she/her)
Mentally stable and also orange

Mike - Straight, ally (he/him)
He's pretty normal besides the DID

Chester - Gay (he/him)
Mike's grandfather died, and he found the body. So he got Chester.

Svetlana - Lesbian (she/her)
Mike's grandfather probably forbid him from doing ballet, so he developed Svetlana. She has a crush on Zoey [Zoey doesn't know] and they're best friends

Vito - Bisexual (he/they)
Was created because Mike was sexually assaulted

Manitoba Smith - Abroromantic, asexual (all prns)
Mike was fostered by Jasmine's family, but they had to go back to Australia to help a sick family member.

Mal - Gay (he/him)
Mike was in like an orphanage or smth and needed someone to defend him so...enter Mal

Jo - Lesbian (she/her)
Moved out bc she hated her parents, even though they were really great

Scott - Gay (he/him)
His parents are super homophobic and he's always looking for his father's approval

Zoey - Polysexual, polyamorous (she/they)
She has anxiety from the jocks at her school and her disapproving parents. She dyes her hair red, just to be a little bit different from the rest of her small town

Lightning - Gay [for the enbies] ("what are my sha-pronouns?"/"what are sha-pronouns?)
Seeks athletic approval and is convinced he is the best. Even though he really isn't and is trying to live up to his dads high standards

Cameron - Straight, ally (any prns)
His mother is over-protective and extremely concerned for his safety
