Two years later, on the cold night of Glacierus as the red Kairanah sun sets and Phonos begins to dim the sky with its moonlight, Vincent went into his room and went into his sleeping quarters and slept for a few hours until two black silhouettes came in through his window. They grabbed Vincent and covered his mouth so nobody could hear him. Vincent shot wide awake and tried to scream for his parents but one of the silhouettes knocked him out quickly and they sprinted out of the window as fast as they could with the prince in their grasp. They brought him to the Archadom and laid him down on the interrogation room floor, where they chained him by his wrists and ankles as he was knocked out. The silhouettes were guards that stood in front of the doorway of the room as Vincent laid there, knocked out. Half an hour later, the unconscious prince woke up and stood up, looking at the guards with a frightened look on his face.

"Where am I?!" He took a quick glimpse at the chains as he tried to get loose.

One of the guards spoke with a deep voice. "Don't even try. It's no use attempting to escape. Besides, he has been waiting a long time." The guard pointed to the other. "You, notify Lord Vermillion on the prince."

The other guard nodded and pressed the button on his left arm. "Sir, we have captured the prince. He is in the interrogation room with us, waiting."

A voice came out of the speaker on the guard's arm. "Good. Keep him there until I arrive."

"Yes, my lord." The communication ended. A few minutes later, the guards stepped onto the sides of the doorway as it opened. A tall silhouette would walk into the room. The figure had light grey skin, red eyes and almost black hair with a bit of facial hair on his chin, wearing a trench coat with white diamond patterns on the sides of his arm, but no shirt underneath with boots. He looked at the prince with a glare.

"So, you're one of Vandala's little munchkins, eh? It's an honor to meet you. However, I have a very simple and important question for you, boy." Vermillion kneeled to his eye level. "I've heard that Vandala found a valuable source of power in the form of a cell inside of your bloodstream. What does that Volkchen cell do? How do you use it?"

Vincent looked at him with a confused look on his face. "Vol-what now? Where are you getting this from?"

"You know, boy. Don't lie to me. How did your ancestor use the power?"

"Hell, if I know. What are you even talking about? Rock hit your head or something?"

Vermillion started to get a little heated up. "Listen here, funny man, just tell me about the details on the Volkchen cell or I swear to Calamity, I'm going to fucking beat the shit out of you!"

"Good luck getting shit out of me... I don't know what you are going on about..."

Vermillion did keep his word as he swung at Vincent a few times, some landing on his face as he fell to his knees in pain. Vermillion pulled out a dagger as slashed Vincent's right eye open and slashed other parts as he screamed with a horrible tone. Blue blood dripped onto the floor as he looked back up at Vermillion, now with slight tears.

Vermillion, still holding the blood-stained dagger, was now angry. "Fucking useless piece of SHIT! FUCK! You're telling me that you can't even know your ancestor's little secret, huh?! I thought it was always passed down through his generations! Fuck this, I've been wanting to do this long ago!!" He stormed out of the room.

"Sheesh, what's his problem?"

Vermillion pushed a button on his arm. "Akatosh, it's time."

A giant holographic screen appeared in front of Vincent as he opens his eyes wide to see his people being slaughtered and everything being burned to the ground by Vermillion's military. He heard the screams of his friends, his family, and the citizens that he cared for. Vincent couldn't process it as it felt like this was a nightmare to him. No, this was reality. He screamed in a horrible tone once again, but it was angry. A fire burned inside of his heart as his eyes started to luminate a light blue, he broke through the chains that he was bound to and attacked one of the guards. Vincent pinned him to the wall and sent a barrage of punches to him then Vincent grabbed him by the neck and slammed his head against the wall as obsidian-colored blood was coming out of the head, nose, and mouth.
