I sat in the study of my suite, reading down paper and bank transfers. My frustration only grew. The numbers weren't adding up. I had never calculated my money wrong—atleast not to my knowledge. Money was misplaced

"Mom." I heard a knock at the door as I looked up from my computer. "Yes, Blue? What's wrong?" I questioned. "Well, I wanted to go eat lunch together. Please." She spoke as I looked at the time. I powered off my laptop before standing. I could use the break. I was on the edge of blowing up. Had she not tended the room, I would have went off.

"I would like to eat in the lobby by the fountain." She spoke with a smile as I nodded and stood. "Go get changed—I'll do the same."

"Let's have a race!" Blue smiled to me as I chuckled and nodded. You get a head start." I observed as she ran out and into her room. Aside from my stress factors, she brings joy to me. Gives me that bit of peace I need to keep my life going smoothly. Motherhood changes you, that's certainly a true statement. It calms you. Help with your patience to a certain extent.

I looked down at my burner phone ringing before placing it to my ear. "Yes?" I questioned. "The trucks are outback, we're loading the stuff in boxes advertised as toiletries. Send staff, get them quick." I heard as I stood and grabbed my jacket. "Someone is messing me over with payments." I spoke as I grabbed a pen and began flipping through my journal.

"I don't handle nothing financial, I'm the messenger, boss." He spoke in defeat. "Figure out where it's going before midnight tonight. I can't cash out a thing if it's not an exact amount and I can't transfer anything in. You're the messenger, send that to the one who sent you to deliver this message to me."

"I would if I had even the slightest clue of who could be doing this. The only other possible people could be anyone who was in charge of the auction funds."

"I paid in cash, that was clean cash I withdrew straight from my bank account. I hummed as he sighed. "I'll look into it. Give me a couple hours you'll have an update, boss."
