"Have you heard that Aurelia is getting married" whispered one. Another whispered, "I didn't know she would agree to it"

The words said lightly, rumbled in Aurelia's ears but she put up a steady smile, but looking deeper she hid the clenched fist with the help of her long draped sleeve. She ignored every rumor, gossip, and other talk going about her and stared at her surroundings. The tea party, where high-class women would partake in their latest gossip and drama; sometimes it gets boring to live in rich so why not stir drama, to light the match to fire.

The room had a high ceiling with at least ten elongated rectangle glass windows, in which one beautiful piece of art is shown. The one that caught Aurelia's eyes was a marvelous drawing on canvas within which a man and a woman were dancing, with wicked smiles. She stared at the picture vividly she felt an unfamiliar Deja vu. She was startled, when with a whinny pitch voiced demanded, "I understand that your laws are getting broken, but it is unlikely of a woman like you to keep quiet at such meetings," she giggled. Aurelia thought, huh wannabe wolf seeking attention to act innocent, and replied with haste, "Well, I had views of marriage differently but never said that I wouldn't get married," she took a sip from her cold tea, closing her eyes swiftly and opened while staring at the tea, continued, "Well, I don't know what to say about my suitor, I knew him but never personally but I don't want put baseless rumors upon him about my opinion as I don't know too little of him which is dangerous to share,"

The oldest madame glanced at everyone present, immediately, politely told, "Aurelia, it is nice to show respect for your other half, but you people at your age are new to love, life, settlement, marriage so many intervein questions arise among friends." Aurelia smiled and others smiled too, one said, "This why you are the best at tea parties, you have a record of having the most peaceful tea parties." Another happily said loudly, "This is why love to come to your party madame Lusena." Then Aurelia almost had a smile on her face back to her non-expressive lips which held mystery of what she was thinking, "Your pieces of advice are one of best I could find, madame Lusena but I should take my leave now," she took her last sip from her tea which got colder to finish.

Everyone waved goodbye to her, Aurelia glanced at the room of that glass painting and was reminded that she had forgotten to ask about the history of that painting to madame. She looked back at the mansion and the sweep with her head high, she thought, how can I go back now when I left early, my ego can't do that.
