Third person's P.O.V

"Changing a mountain is easier than changing a person's character,"- Beloved Enemy (C-drama), said                                                                                                                                   by Yuan Yang Stepmom.

Aurelia was at her desk, finishing her assignments from both school and work. Yes, she studies, in the Imperial Academy.

The Imperial Academy, which once had been made for royalty, nobles, and wealthy people was now for anyone from the upper middle class to the rich. Only the nobles, most of them, no longer have the title or the power once it is held is no longer theirs, and so is the royalty. Still, the imperial academy held its strong foot to the ground. The vast land, architecture, facilities, opportunities, and studies held outstanding remarks. Even now, three-fourths of a quarter of this school students, lead the country. And one-third of the students are common folk, both rich and common folk have to take a vigorous admission test to be a student. That's not the end, you have earned the title of being like a student of the academy if you fail to its' expectations, you get kicked out. Hence, the school is almost fair, the rich students still get their privileges.

Aurelia was one of the students from the academy. There is no ranking system of who's first or who scored the highest, but there is an alternative ranking system, which is known as a ranking system but it doesn't only care about grades. The ranking system includes all the student's contributions to the school, from the school, scores, projects, attendance, personality, talents you have, etc. An overall contribution is calculated, this was an indirect popularity contest. Whoever got the highest points is the most popular girl or boy in the school.

She was checking the newsletter of the school, the people who were ranking most in the ranks. She gripped the newsletter crumbled it up and threw this beside the study table. She murmured to herself, "That woman, who dares to touch what I own," She stood up from the table and went to the dressing room which was a subset of her bedroom, there was a mirror larger than her, slanted so it wouldn't fall. She stared in a murderous look down to the mirror, she made a quick gullible smile then her smile faded and she stared at the mirror, like a void that was swirling around her.

She turned aside and grabbed her walk-in closet doors, piles of dresses hanging, she glanced at each one, touching some of them when she liked it, in the one choice was made. She wore a floral which was dripped in sleeves and a down skirt part of the dress, in lavender. She looked like a flower, fragile yet no one could take their eyes off.

(This is smh she wore)_

She wore that dress, Then she went from her bedroom to the halls of the mansion, usually the third floor was empty but shined with candles, there was a long corridor from one to another tower path, both sides of the corridor had no walls and it was like a balcony. It had styled half, barriers to support. She slowly stepped into the corridor, tilted her head, and put her arms at rest by the barricade. She murmured in a low tone, "The sky is as dark as an enormous void, yet the stars glimmer in the vast void, for what, to show the beauty in the dark, that even you can pop up. If that is what the stars say, then why am I always failing," She buried her face in her arms, then she rested her head on the barrier.

She got up and stepped down stares, while on the stairs making a visible loud stomping of shoe soles. Her dress flowing around her, dancing around her steps, she went to the first floor. She saw dinner, took a seat, and sat there beside no one. A vein popped on her head, and all she could think was to kill the Russo which she had no idea was invited again.

She calls them uninvited guests in this house and this homeland of hers, her mind drowns in the thought of her questions being answered. All she had to do was pretend to be a good business partner and a good decent innocent wife. She thought to herself, she should indirectly raise the questions of the estates and with a most basic question, why did they decide to settle in their Urangabad?

The problem was, that she had to bring it in a light topic and not in a business topic. She flickered when someone called her name aloud, "Ms. Gisellet," his voice had a soothing tone with not a hint of concern but seriousness of necessity. She faked an innocent smile, that of a clumsy girl making a mistake, "Mr. Russo, ohh, I would have come earlier, if I had known about all of your arrival," I stated.  She thought, there he goes, his perfectly fitted tone, "It would have better to give you a little surprise, Ms. Gisellet," sugar coating words, all too well known, but when he said, Ms. Gisellet his eyebrows twitched and got closer in between the nose, as if it was said by hatred, Aurelia analyzed.

Her indirect reply was a smirk and her direct reply was, "I shall take my seat, I apologize for taking too long," My mother flattering me said, "Isn't she just too well mannered, Arwan and Dephane dearie," Aurelia sat and faked her smile, while she was awkward, with her family and his family.

They were family friends so it's not unusual not to or they are taking advantage of each other, she couldn't figure it out, not yet at least.

The conversation went like this,

Arwan: The more I see her, the more I want her to be my daughter-in-law.

Dephane: She's always respectful and concerned about others, I feel like she would also share                            her feelings, that being serious all the time, people should take breaks.

Aurelia, in her mind: Yes, definitely, I have that gorgeous freedom of speech, when I think of my                                                     own family like business, how can I think of you all as a family, Ma'am?

And the conversation went, on, nothing peculiar, she could find out. Nevertheless, something was amiss, they all talked about their young parents' day, something about the devil; she called Eunid.  Why was everyone talking about his and her first encounter, she thought again. She tried to analyze but got tangled in his pensive, cocoa eyes, the eyes were icy and there were eye bags that could be seen. Nevertheless, he looked handsome, his jawline was visible but not chiseled, and he was slim but he may have some muscles on him, she thought.

She glared at him, with all her might to be seen as fire, danger, destruction not protection, warmness, savior.
