JUSTIN'S P.O.V.

"That was amazing Justin!" said my friend Jayden Smith.

"Thanks Jayden." I said while putting my guitar down.

"No problem."

"Ready to go to Johns Hopkins?"

"Yes! I love visiting those kids!"

"I heard they have a new patient."

"Really?"

"Yeah. It's a little girl who can't walk."

"That's awful!"

"Yeah. I know. We should get her something."

"Yeah.......like a teddy bear!"

"Perfect."

Jayden and I walked out of the studio and got into my car. I drove to Johns Hopkins to see some of the lights out. Where we late? I look at Jayden, and he is already out of the car and walking towards the hospital. I got out and ran after Jayden.

"Hey Jayden wait up!"

I finally caught up to Jayden and walked with him inside.

"Hello Justin." said Mrs. Anderson.

"Hey Mrs. Anderson."

"We decided that you two would divide the hospital. Correct?"

"Yes."

"Okay. Justin, you have the east wing and, and Jayden, you have the west."

"Alright."

"Okay." said Jayden as he walled away.

I walked down the hallway and visited a lot of children. I finished visiting a child with the flu, but still no sign of the little girl. I decided to text Jayden to see if he saw her.

--Hey did u see the little girl?

--No Justin. I didn't.

--I'll ask Mrs. Anderson.

--Alright.

I walk to Mrs. Anderson's office to find her writing down in her journal.

"Mrs. Anderson?"

"Yes Justin?"

"Which wing is the little girl in?"

"Who?"

"The little girl who can't walk."

"Oh, she is in the east wing."

"Come with me."

Mrs. Anderson got up from her desk and walked out of her office. I followed down the hallway to a room. She opened the door quietly and slowly turned on the lights. I look around and see a little girl asleep in the hospital bed. The little girl looked like she was three years old and was sleeping peacefully. Mrs. Anderson walked over to the little and rubbed her back.

"Dani?"

"Hm?"

"Someone's here to see you."

She sits up and stretches. I walk over to her and have the teddy bear in my arms.

"Hi." said the little girl.

"Hi."

"What's your name?"

"Justin and yours?"

"Danielle, but Doctor Anderson and everyone else calls me Dani."

"Well Dani, I have a gift for you."

"What?" She said as her face lit up.

I showed her the jumbo teddy bear, and Dani was very happy.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome."

I layed the bear by her, and it was bigger than her.

"Justin?"

"Yes?"

"How old are you?"

"I'm 18. How old are you?"

She looks at her hand then holds up three fingers.

"Wow! Three?"

"Yeah!"

"You're old!"

"No I'm not!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

Dani starts laughing, and it was the cutest laugh. She seemed totally okay with not being able to walk. I couldn't imagine not walking. I felt bad for Dani. She is so young and has a whole life ahead of her.

"Justin, its time for Dani to join the rest of the kids for dinner." said Mrs. Anderson as she walks in.

"Can Justin join us?"

"Dani."

"Please!"

Mrs. Anderson laughed as Dani begged.

"Alright, but if its okay with Justin."

"It's fine with me." I said smiling.

"Okay."

Mrs. Anderson walks over to a small wheelchair and brought it over to the side of Dani's bed. Dani pulled the blanket off and swung her legs so they dangle off the bed.

"Justin, can you help Dani into the wheelchair?" said Mrs. Anderson.

"Sure."

I pick Dani up and sit her in the wheelchair. Dani adjusted how she was sitting then looked at Doctor Anderson.

"Ready to go?"

"Yes Doctor Anderson."

Doctor Anderson starts to push Dani while I walk beside Dani.

"Justin?"

"Yeah?"

"What's it like to walk?"

I look at Doctor Anderson and almost broke down.
