JungkookieGukk, it's a pleasure to have you here today. We'd love to learn more about you. Care to share a bit about yourself?
Greetings!My real name is Luke, and I am a writer. I am very thrilled to write and explore a whole area of scenarios in the K-pop world, topics to develop, characters to bring to life, situations to encounter. I would love to become a writer, since it's been my passion from the very young age of 4 years old. Of course, at that time it was only a kid's play, but I would work hard to turn my passion into a whole career. On top of being a writer, I am also an editor and an artist, which makes it even more exciting to get to know the community, help them with graphic shops and ideas, and many more.
You're absolutely right, multitasking is the name of the game! 😄 In an artist's mind, hundreds of ideas whirl by every minute. What sparked your inspiration to write Bangtan Camp?
The moment I noticed Bangtan Camp, I knew it was the perfect place for me to pour my heart out along with all my passions for music and my restless ambitions to work my way towards the top no matter the distance nor effort it takes. Since I could blend it with my love and admiration for BTS, it came naturally and became both a confession and a wonderful adventure. Even if it was my first time participating in a contest, I treated it like my home, as if it was my personal journal, not as a competition.
It's not easy to immerse oneself in a contest with specific prompts that can be somewhat limiting. You handled it perfectly. This might be your first contest, but you've been on Wattpad for a while now. What inspired you to start writing on Wattpad?
Writing has been one of my passions ever since I got to the age of 4. Recently, I discovered Wattpad and I decided to share my stories and also meet other writers, joining the community of people who share the same passions as me. This way, Wattpad became my safe place.
Speaking about passions...How did you come across BTS?
I was very young by the time I came across BTS, but I can say that I wasn't the one to discover the group, but the group discovered me. It simply popped up once as a new K-pop group, and I immediately felt a sparkle of interest, even if things weren't as shiny as they are now.
So, you've been with them from the beginning. That's great! Which BTS song describes you the best and why?
I find myself in the lyrics of "Euphoria", not only because it is a beautiful song, but also because it makes me walk across every corner of my heart and think of the happy moments, the wonderful people, the passions that are the cause of my own euphoria.
Can you reveal to us which BTS member you think vibes with your personality?
Jungkook has the type of personality that matches perfectly with mine. The feelings, emotions, charming character, soft side and strong self-confidence are only a few of the traits that are mutual.
Jungkook has a magical charm, that's true. You wrote about him in your story, but you also mentioned the rest of the group. Which character in your story do you feel most attached to/proud of?
The character I feel most attached to is the participant. I transformed my emotional journey of becoming a writer, starting from the very bottom and putting the utmost effort in reaching the top into the physical adventure of the participant, who started as a soul among the crowd and exceeded any expectation as he became the shining star of the camp.
This approach is truly unique. Personal transformation is very important. Over the past year, everyone in the group has been going through it. What has been your favorite recent solo project by the members of BTS?
My favorite solo moment of the BTS members is SEVEN, by Jungkook, because despite anyone's words, I believe that behind lyrics and actions, there are messages of confidence, signals of strength and power that come with respect and hard work. After some time, the people who once started from respecting rules, fill their hearts with respect, honor and create their own rules, even becoming a motivational example to all the others who might be afraid of stepping out of ordinary.
The beauty of music lies in the fact that we can interpret its meaning in many ways. The way you support Jungkook is amazing. At the end, we'll just ask for one more thing: Any message for our readers?
I greet and encourage all the readers to find their strength and ignite every single fire in their heart, to show the world what they are capable of even if they are afraid to do so. The reason for that is simple. Life is short, we should live it at its peak, respecting the rules of manners, but creating our own rules when it comes to our dreams. Goals are made to be reached.
