Storm's End - an OC fic [DISCONTINUED]

◇ A Fresh Start ◇

•Auburn POV•

I open my eyes, and the sun is blazing down on me, slightly obstructed by the leaves. I realize I'm in a big tree, nothing like the natural ones I'm used to. They're the same woods, but the tree is huge. Oh. I'm high up. 

I carefully maneuver my way down the tree, falling a bit when there's no more branches sticking out. I look around. 

This... isn't home. 

I look down at myself. I'm not wearing my usual outfit; a green jumper and jean overalls. Instead, I'm wearing leather boots, dark grey trousers, a creme, loose-fitting dress shirt, and a brown corset. I also have a flower in my hair. I pull it from behind my ear to see what it is. It's a poppy, my favorite flower. My hair is still it's regular shade of cyan with my orange streak in my bangs. I still have my two different colored eyes. My right eye is indigo and my left eye is orange. 

I see a cave nearby. I have nothing on my other than my clothing, so I punch a tree and make a crafting table. A fly buzzes near me. I make a wooden pickaxe, then collect enough stone for all stone tools. I mine for quite a while, leaving with 49 diamonds and almost a stack of iron. It's dark out, so I dig myself a hole and settle down. 

Over the next days I expand my base, adding a picnic table and flowers. Poppies, of course. I do this all underground, but emerge to the surface for resources. I get a lobster in a bucket and name him Larry. He's red and saves me when I'm on fire. 

During this time people say hello to me. Turns out I'm not alone on these islands. I felt a buz once, in my pocket. Inside was a communicator, just like the ones in my old home. I talked to some people, and they all had odd names, such as Diamond. I met someone named Dino, and he even came by once. 

I was happy here, in my little hole. I had ltitle food and got by on dried kelp, but it wasn't too bad. 

Then one day I got a message from someone named Mikey.
