CHAPTER 10

"So what now?" I asked Drew as we walked out of the park.

"I think we will have to see where all this takes us."
He was right. We had to take it slowly. A lot of things have already happened and to start from where we left was next to impossible.
I look down at our entwined hands. I love the way even the little things make me feel when I'm with him.

"Kate." Drew breaks me away from my thoughts.
"Ya."
"Promise me that you won't leave me without a reason."

I didn't know if I could promise him this. I don't even know where will we be tomorrow. But I can't make him go through all the pain. I know what I did to him had already broken him and I couldn't do it again to him. It wasn't fair on him.

"I promise."

Drew smiled at me. I could see the relief in his eyes.

"We will make it through all this, Kate. I know that we will."

His words made me want to try. I couldn't let all this go for the second time. This was my second chance to make everything alright. I just have to learn to trust him.

"As long as we both are with eachother, we can make it through everything." I told him. His face lit up as he heard what I spoke. The look on his face was just worth repeating what I said again and again.

"I love you, Kae. I just want you to know this."

"I know."

I got on my toes and kissed him on his cheeks. He was so red. It was clearly visible on his face.

"Are you blushing?" I teased him.

"No I'm not." He quickly dismissed what I said.

"You are blushing. Hahahhaha."

"I'm not. Stop laughing Kate. It's not funny."

I laughed more loudly this time.

"KATE!!!!!!!!" Drew looked so cute when he tried to pretend like he was angry.

"Okay Andrew." I tried my best to control my laugh.

"I will take revenge." He spoke.

"Bring it on." I challenged him.

"You are going to regret this Kateyy."

And now he is using the weird names.

"Don't follow Cole's fan followings footsteps." The "yyy" were the signature move of all the girls who followed Cole everywhere.

"You know I like Kateyy more than Kate." He was trying to get back at me but he's failing miserably.
"Whatever you say DREWEYYYYYYY." I purposely stretched the last part.
I was always better at this than Andrew. He would end up losing at the end of the day.

My phone started ringing in my pocket. When I pulled it out, Cole's name flashed on the screen.

PERFECT TIMING COLE!

"Hey Coley." I spoke in the most sugar coated voice that I could.

"Not again." Cole sighed over the other end.

"What happened Coley?" I teased again.

He ignored my teasing and spoke.

"Is Andrew with you?"
