|002| First kiss

The girls are 14 at the time, and the only reason Olivia got accepted as a guard or knight is because they didn't have enough guards or knights.

It's been seven years since Ryler and Olivia hung out. Ryler was busy with her mother trying to find a husband and learning to be a princess. And Olivia was actively training to be a knight or guard. While Ryler's servants were watering flowers in the garden, Ryler ran into the woods, to the pond where Ryler and Olivia would hang out. Ryler sat on the ground and watched the fish swim in the water. Ryler sometimes wished she was a fish, she could swim where she wanted and be what she wanted. Ryler would start to tear up. Ryler covered her eyes and let all the memories of her and Olivia hanging out by the pond. 

When Ryler and Olivia would play in the water (well, Olivia would) "Olivia! Your dress is getting wet!" Ryler would laugh. "You're gonna get a cold!" Ryler always smiled and felt happy near Olivia. Olivia got out of the water because she was shivering, but Olivia didn't wanna admit to Ryler that she was cold. Ryler would see that Olivia was shaking, Ryler walked up to Olivia and grabbed Olivia's hand. "I told you, you shouldn't have walked into the water!" Ryler sighed in disappointment. Olivia nodded in disapproval. "I-i'm fine..." Olivia mumbled, shivering. Ryler intertwined her fingers with Olivia's. "Come on, let's go get you cleaned up and make some hot chocolate!" Ryler would start to run, and Olivia would try to catch up. Well..Olivia didn't really have a choice because their hands were holding on to each other.

Ryler stopped in her tracks. Olivia almost fell forward but with Ryler holding Olivia's hand, Ryler caught Olivia. "T-thanks.." Olivia smiled and brushed herself off. Ryler smiled. Olivia squeezed Ryler's hand in reassurance. Ryler looked down at the ground. "You know you don't have to take me with you to go into the castle, Ry." Olivia rubbed Ryler's hand with her thumb. Ryler blushed and looked away. "Uhm...Olivia? I have a question..." Ryler looked at Olivia. "Ask away." Olivia smiled just a little. Ryler let go of Olivia's hand, Ryler then faced Olivia and cupped the side of Olivia's face. "Can I...do something before we go into the castle?" Olivia tilted her head. 

The next thing that happened was...Heaven...In Ryler's mind of course. Ryler kissed Olivia. Olivia's eyes widen in surprise. Olivia pushed Ryler away from the kiss. "What the heck Ryler!? Why did you do that!?" Olivia wiped her lips. Only in defense did Olivia say she didn't like the kiss, Olivia actually didn't want it to stop. But she didn't want Ryler to know that, I mean Olivia and Ryler are supposed to be into boys, why would Ryler kiss Olivia? Ryler's eyes started to tear up. "I-i'm sorry! I didn't mean too!" Ryler whispered, while sniffling. Olivia walked up a little to Ryler. "Hey..It's uhm, weird but..You meant it as a friend kiss...Right?" Olivia stepped a little closer to Ryler. "I-...i don't know..." Ryler wiped her tears. Olivia walked close enough to cup Ryler's face. 

Ryler was shocked. Olivia kissed Ryler on the forehead. "I-i should get back home, if I don't my parents will be scared or mad. I'll see you later." Olivia waved and walked back home shivering. Ryler would watch Olivia walk away, into the chilly, dark, sunset. Ryler smiled and blushed as she just realized what Olivia did. Ryler stopped blushing and ran into the castle. Ryler walked inside and saw her mother yelling at a maid. 'Always yelling' Ryler thought. Ryler's mother looked at Ryler. "RYLER!?! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? AND WHY IS YOUR HAIR ALL MESSED UP!?" Ryler's mom then looked at Ryler's torn, messy dress. While Ryler was running, Ryler didn't know she ripped her dress. 

"WHAT THE HELL RYLER!?! YOUR DRESS!?! ITS RUINED!?!" Ryler's mom would keep yelling, Ryler would start to tear up a little. Ryler then ran up the stairs and into her room. Ryler shut the door and locked it. Ryler crouched down near her bed and started crying non-stop. 

Ryler just wished she was in Olivia's arms again...
