|A New Life and A Vampire|

In the dim light of the bus, a young boy sat alone, his striking presence impossible to ignore. Bell Amamiya, with his tall, well-built frame and ethereal appearance, seemed to be a figure from another world. His snow-white hair flowed down his back, meticulously tied in a high ponytail that added an air of regal sophistication. His ruby-red eyes, deep and captivating, betrayed nothing of his inner thoughts as he stared out the window, lost in contemplation.

Bell wore a customized uniform provided by the Academy's Director—a significant departure from the standard light-to-medium green blazer that marked the school's usual attire. His ensemble consisted of a long-sleeved, open-collared black dress shirt beneath a striking red button-up blazer. The look was completed with a black belt, black pants, and dark-brown shoes. Bell appreciated the change in color, finding the new uniform both elegant and befitting his unique persona.

As the bus rumbled through the city, Bell couldn't shake the sense of mystery surrounding his transfer to Yokai Academy. The sudden recommendation to the school came with no public or official records, leaving him with more questions than answers. His Aunt Alfia and Mother Meteria, usually transparent and supportive, had been unusually reserved when he inquired about the academy. Their silence only deepened his curiosity, leaving him to wonder about the hidden reasons behind his enrollment at this enigmatic institution.

Looking out the window of the bus, I couldn't help but feel a bubbling excitement beneath my otherwise expressionless face. The scenery blurred past as we drove along, but my mind was elsewhere, caught up in the thrill of the unknown. The idea of attending Yokai Academy had been such a sudden twist in my otherwise predictable life, and though I hadn't shown it outwardly, I was eager to uncover the mysteries that lay ahead.

It all started one ordinary evening when I was lying on my bed, lost in the soothing melodies of my favorite music. The gentle hum of the tunes drowned out the world until my aunt's voice cut through, calling me from downstairs with an urgency that piqued my curiosity. She mentioned having important news, and with a sigh, I turned off my music, climbed out of bed, and made my way to the living room.

As I descended the stairs, I was greeted by the familiar sight of my Aunt Alfia and my mother, Meteria. Alfia, with her long, hip-length silver hair, looked as striking as ever. Her heterochromatic eyes—one a vivid green and the other a stormy grey—were sharp and intense, mirroring her usual calm but stern demeanor. She had a preference for dark-colored clothing, occasionally donning a beautiful blue dress that added a touch of elegance to her formidable presence.

Next to her stood my mother, Meteria Godfrey Amamiya, a vision of ethereal beauty. She shared my snow-white hair, cascading down her back like a waterfall of light, a trait that clearly ran in the family. The main difference between us, aside from gender, was our eye color—hers were a deep sapphire-blue, sparkling with warmth and kindness, while mine were ruby-red, a vivid reminder of my father. My mother preferred light, airy clothing, mostly in shades of white that only served to highlight her radiant aura.

As I took in the sight of them together, I couldn't help but think, "My father was a lucky man." And if you're wondering why I say "them" and not just "her," well, you can do the math and figure it out. My mother had always been kind, gentle, and honest, her cheerful energy a comforting presence in my life. My aunt, on the other hand, was a different story. Calm and collected most of the time, Alfia exuded a quiet, stern authority. But she also had a fiery temper that could ignite at the slightest provocation, a stark contrast to my mother's serene demeanor.

"Aunt Alfia, Mother, what is it?" I asked, my curiosity piqued by the urgency in their voices.

Alfia's eyes locked onto mine, her expression serious. "Bell, we have important news to discuss." She paused, letting the weight of her words settle before continuing, "From today onward, you will be a student at Yokai Academy."
