ToonTown. They had finally made it.
Three travelers stood in front of a sign that told them where they currently were on the world map that they held in their hands. One of them continuously looked at the sign, the map and back at the sign. She wanted to be certain that they are actually where the map said they were.
The map that they were in possession of, wasn't an ordinary map. This map was different, magically. When they would look down at the map and it would occasionally change shape, change the contents of the map, it even showed their names on the map that moved across the map depending on where they currently were.
There was one thing that confused the trio, the map had purposefully led them to this town that they now stood in front of instead of one of the components they were hunting for. It made no sense, but the map hadn't led them wrong yet. So, the best they could do is trust wherever it is leading them, and for whatever purpose.
One of the travelers turned to her companions, a smile on her face as she spoke to them.
"Looks like we finally found what this map was leading us to...!" She sounded a lot more cheerful than she looked... it was clear all three of them were tired...
The girl looked over her shoulder and back at the sign, a small smile on her face. Maybe... just maybe they're getting a start on their quest...!
"Bianca...? Are you paying attention-?" A soft voice broke her inner thoughts as she looked back at the other two. Bianca hadn't realized that she had spaced out. She feels as if this place will definitely lead them in the right direction!
"Yeah, I'm all good! Like I previously said, we've found whatever this map was leading us to. We have apparently found ToonTown!" The two looked down at the map in her hands, then at the large sign behind her.
"Well... No shit Bianca-" One of the two spoke in a snarky tone.
"Shut up Bendy." She instantly responded. She had no time for her younger brother's attitude at this time. Bianca took a deep breath in, signaling her two younger brothers to follow her as she turned around and started to walk down the gravel path that led to ToonTown.
Upon arrival, Bianca looked through the large buildings... Well, they weren't that large, they're just bigger than the small village that she and her brothers used to live in. Her eyes scanned around the nearby area, and a small corner shop cafe caught her eye.
"Bendy, Boris, you two are free to explore for a bit, I might go and check out that cafe over there." Bianca pointed towards the cafe as she spoke.
The two brothers nodded their heads eagerly as they ran past her and into the town. Smiling at their antics, she walked behind them and eventually changed directions so that she could go to the cafe.
Bianca didn't feel any concern for her brother's safety, they knew how to be safe... they knew what to do when... it... happens... she trusts them... for now...
As the door to the cafe opened, a high-pitched ring echoed through the somewhat empty building. Bianca looked around as she found a nice booth in the corner of the store that she claimed.
The cushions of the booth were quite comfy, it had been awhile since her and her brothers had access to things like cushioned chairs in corner cafes. It's not a common sight to see a random cafe in the middle of nowhere when they travel.
Eventually, one of the waitresses noticed her and walked over to get her order.
"Excuse me miss, are you perhaps ready to order anything?" Her voice was quiet and had a sweet tone to it. And as Bianca turned her attention towards her, she noticed that she was a cat cartoon, a pretty common thing to see...
