As the minutes passed, the night seemed to grow stranger by the second, and for the first time, you found yourself not enjoying your shift at the convenience store. You glanced at your cellphone to check the time and nearly let out a scream of excitement when you saw it was 4:45 am. Your shift was about to end, and the girl taking over should be arriving any moment.

However, there was one last thing you needed to take care of—ensuring the mysterious boy's safety. With this in mind, you made your way to the back of the store once again. You couldn't help but shake your head, feeling utterly exhausted. Unlike you, the man was in a deep sleep, his face pressed against the fabric of your hoodie. "Cute," you muttered under your breath.

Resuming your search for his cellphone, you scoured the pockets and found nothing. It seemed there was no one to call to come to his aid, and you couldn't simply leave him here. Reluctantly, you started to wake him up, despite how comfortable he appeared. You first shook him gently, then became a bit more assertive, but he showed no signs of waking anytime soon. You even tapped his cheek softly to avoid causing any harm, but still, there was no response. He was breathing, though, so he wasn't dead.

Sighing in frustration, you pondered for a moment and finally devised a not-so-great plan, but it was better than leaving him alone. You were aware that he had made his own decisions and put himself in danger, but if there was something you could do to help, you were willing to try.

For the next twenty minutes, you watched him sleep, feeling a bit creeped out by your own actions. "I hope I ain't being creepy," you thought to yourself, "I'm just... analyzing him." His appearance was nothing short of captivating, with impeccable fashion sense despite his tattered clothes. He wore a black leather jacket over a dark gray turtleneck, black ripped jeans that clung to his thighs in a tantalizing manner. His shoulders were broad, and his jawline was sharp yet somehow soft. His lips were full and naturally pink, with a small cut on the lower one that only seemed to enhance his attractiveness. His button nose and straight brows gave him an angelic appearance with his eyes closed. However, there were bruises on his smooth honey-colored skin that added a touch of a badass look. His black wavy hair looked incredibly soft, making you yearn to run your fingers through it.

Lost in his beauty, you almost forgot that your coworker was about to arrive. Just in time, you flipped the open sign over and unlocked the door once more. If she had walked in on you staring at the sleeping boy so intensely, it would have been rather awkward.
