I wasn't really paying attention to where I was walking because I was listening to music. That's how I got into this whole damn mess. It really was quite the egregious outtake.

But I guess it is what it is, huh...

I heard someone yell through the music blasting in my headphones. This caught me off guard and I looked around to see who decided to disturb the peace. I saw someone chasing a cat onto the street.

Then I saw a car.

I tried to save the cat from having a brutal death. I kind of forgot the guy was there and I ended up knocking into him, head first, then fell onto the pavement.

"What the hell were you doing!??!" A distorted voice said to me.

"You could've gotten run over, dumbass!! "

I just stared at him blankly.

"Well?!" He barked. I couldn't really make out anything probably to the trauma I just experienced in my head. Everything was blurry and I saw two bodies; one his and the other...

"..watch where you're dropping your body."

Realization hit me like lighting on a metal rod. That was my body next to his.

My body was next to his.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Well come on I don't have all day!" He announced.

I didn't know why I followed him in these woods. I don't know why my body was on the ground practically 5,0000 miles away from where I stood.

"You're a goddess. One of the things you can do is have your spirit come out of your body but nobody could see you except other gods. " The guys said matter of factly. His tone sounded very arrogant, I didn't fancy it.

I just stared blankly at him without blinking.

"WOULD YOU BLINK IT'S CREEPING ME OUT!!" He screamed in horror. I blinked once and proceeded to my 'friendly' conversation,

" How the hell am I as a goddess?"

He just rolled his eyes in response. "You're a god?" I asked.

". . . Yup" He whispered hesitantly. That's cool, I guess.. but where the hell is my body?" I said while turning my head to the side.

He huffed and said "Well you imagine the place where your body fell, your body should eventually find its way back here.

I tried it and from what I remember, everything went dark after that. A few minutes later I got up.

Laying up, he surprised me by saying,

"YOUR BODY KNOCKED INTO YOU !!!!!"

He was laughing so hard he was turning into a bright red tomato. I was mad but couldn't help but laugh at his face, making me giggle. Once I did that he stopped laughing. He turned around and stammered

" I have to go. Stay here for the night. You'll be prone to fainting with all the trauma from your fall " He ran out just as I sat there very confused about what just happened.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a while, it was about 12 in the morning and I decided to wait for him on the couch instead of in the mini infirmary he had. He took so damn long it was like waiting in the biggest traffic jam ever. Finally, after what seemed like days of staring at the door, he walked right through it as if nothing happened.

He sat down right next to me on the couch,

"Have you got family? Somebody to take care of?"

I just looked down without answering him. I was still kind of mad at him for not coming sooner plus it was so late and all I wanted to do was sleep.

"I'm going to take that as a no. " He replied as he gave me the slightest nod in sympathy.

I just looked at him while he tried sympathizing with me. He obviously wasn't doing a good job at it. After a moment of silence, he looked straight at me. "You seem to not know what you are at this moment. That could make you a target for anyone who knows you're alive. You can't trust anyone, anyone could lie to you."

He stared at me with his bright blue eyes as if trying to communicate something. I suddenly remembered a dream I had a while back, a tall man who had eyes that were as black as charcoal and beautiful lavender-colored hair.

After I recalled that dream I had a huge headache.

His eyes widened as he must've recalled something of his own. He looked down, seeming as if he had just shaken off the notion. He walked towards me and said

"Come on. Let's go."

"Go where-" Just as I was about to finish my question, I fainted right into his arms.

How embarrassing.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wake up to the sounds of gunshots outside. I was very confused as I woke up in a place I didn't remember being in.

I walked to the other room adjacent to the one I was in only to see bodies and blood all over the place. Being me, I walked over to the fridge to see if there was anything to eat since I hadn't eaten anything prior to that.

The shooting is still happening and I hear a familiar voice yell,

"Bastards! "

I stormed over the voice to try and reason with them to shut the hell up.

"Thank the Gods you're okay!!" He sounded relieved. I just looked at him annoyed and said,

"What."

He didn't mind the fact that I was annoyed and said,

"I thought that one of them got to you as I was shooting off-" He was cut off as a bullet hit him in the side. He muttered to himself in pain.

My eyes widened and I saw red.

I wasn't in control of my own body. There was an emotion I'd never felt before

                                                 What the hell is this...
