Amelia's POV

I woke up and got ready and had breakfast while talking with Charlie

"Are you excited for your date" he asks

"It's not a date but yes" I responded

"Come on it's obvious you both like each other you're just scared of saying it" he said

" no, he doesn't like me like that" I said

'is Charlie right?' I thought to myself

Time skip🌸

It's 3:45 and I just got in my car so I could drive to Brighton, while driving all I could think about was what Charlie said. Does he actually like me back?

I got out of the car after seeing Wilbur and went to hug him

"Hi Will!"

"Hi Lia!"
"We are gonna go to the arcade first so let's go!" He said

We started walking and our hands slightly touched but when we touched again he grabbed my hand.

We looked at each other and both smiled.

We arrived and the first thing I saw was this really cute vending machine with a duck plushie.

Wilbur saw this and made his way to try to win it.

i started filming him as he continued failing when he suddenly got it and gave it to me smiling widely.

"Thank you" I said smiling just as widely and we continued playing different games with him glancing at me every few seconds.

"Let's go this way" Wilbur said guiding me while holding my hand

He led me to the beach and dropped a blanket so we could sit.

We both sat down and started admiring the view and I dropped my head on his shoulder and he did the same on my head.

"Amelia I have to tell you something" he said
I started getting worried "what is it?"

"I like you a lot" he said

Was this finally happening!?!

" I like you too"

"Do you wanna be my girlfriend?"

"YES of course" I said excitingly

He grabbed my face and kissed me with so much passion and I kissed back
We both pulled away and smiled.

"We should probably go back now" I said smiling so hard
"Let's go" he said smiling as hard as me
We made our way to my car but before I got in my seat I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him.
i pulled away and said "see you tomorrow"
"See you tomorrow" he said

I got back home and told Charlie everything
"I'm so happy for you!" Charlie told me smiling
"I'm gonna go to bed now goodnight" i said.
"Goodnight!" He said
