Early the Next morning, John walked towards Violet's home, dressed in his finest attire, which wasn't that good, considering he was still just a lowly thief struggleing to even feed himself and his step-brother.
He walked over to the door and knocked gently, recieving no response.
"Hello?" Asked John, knocking once more.
There was no response.
John knocked a few more times and still, got no response, so he decided to open with the key.
The door was unlocked by the key, and John hesitantly pushed It open, trying to hold in his nervousness.
John, nonetheless, instead of with an elegant and beautiful Misstress, was met with three finely dressed men, aiming muskets at him.
"Huh... i'll uh... I must've gotten the wrong address..." nervously said John, staring at the three men as he awkwardly tried to close the door.
"Wait." Said a feminine voice, as one of the men pushed the door open, not allowing John to close It.
The three men stepped aside, as the same Cat from the other days walked over to the door and looked Up at John.
"Oh, hey Kitty." Said John, kneeling down to Pat the cat's head.
The three men stared awkwardly at this, as one of them walked to another room while the other Two held their muskets.
The Third man returned shortly after with a chair, setting It down behind the Cat.
John simply stared at this.
"So uh... where's miss Violet?" Asked John, looking at the 3 men.
The men did not respond.
Suddenly, the Cat seemed to chuckle.
"Look down, dummy." Said a feminine voice.
John looked down once more, simply staring at the Cat. "I don't get It." He said.
Suddenly, a bright glow covered the Cat, as its shape seemingly begun to shift.
"Oh what the fuck!?" Yelled John, backing away in confusion, meanwhile, the 3 men didnt even react, as if they were expecting It.
After roughly 10 seconds, the glow dissipated, leaving behind an elegantly dressed woman with straight, dark purple hair going down her shoulders, she was somewhat short, sitting with her legs crossed on the chair, smiling softly at John.
"What the fuck is going on?" Asked John, visibly confused by the strange situation.
"I am Violet, and... this makes you my Fiance." Said the woman, smiling softly.
John paused, trying to comprehend what was going on. "Oh... uh... okay... that sounds nice..." he awkwardly said.
And... this is where our strange tale ends...
After getting used to it all, John married Violet, and they were a surprisingly Happy couple.
Henry would go on to be given a large amount of pounds by Violet, which he spent making and arming his own gang, eventually being assasinated by the developing private police forces of London 17 years after.
And... the Cat? Well, there's no cat... Violet was a Shapeshifter all along.
