I averted my gaze from my watch as a sigh escaped my lips
Right now, I'm standing infront of my office i.e Lee corporation. Why am I here? Well, I decided to pay a visit to Jungkook since his forgetful ass has again forgotten to bring the lunch with him, so this time instead of sending it with a driver, I decided to give it to him myself. It was also because I was missing my lovely office.
Finally I'm back.
I entered the office only to be greeted by respectful bows and shocked expressions. All I did was to return their bows with a smile
Home sweet home
Yes, I sometimes refer my office as my home, cause why not. I have spended my majority of the time there since my childhood.
With every step taken my the thrill and the feeling of longing inside me increased and with that I entered the elevator and pressed the 3rd floor button
Oh, how much I missed you
Also, I was not able to miss the bows, shocked expressions followed by a smile received by the 3 female employees in the elevator; which I mirrored quickly
The excitement of surprising Jungkook took over me as I was standing near the reception of his cabin
"Good Afternoon Mrs.Jeon. Long time no see" the women in her early thirties greeted with a polite smile
Atleast they still remember me
"No need of formalities Misun. And well I came here to give Jungkook his tiffin which he has forgotten as always" I said followed by a chuckle
"Oh, but Mr.Jeon is in a meeting." She paused thinking something hard"But if it is you it won't cause any problem, I suppose" she said followed by a sweet smile
"Okay, wait, let's take a selfie since I don't know when I will come next" I said taking out my phone"This way Jungkook can also get time to complete his meeting"
The next thing I knew was that I was clicking pictures with Misun and then started recording around a little as the sign of making memories.
Then a great idea popped up in my mind. I thought of recording Jungkook's reaction while I surprise him.
Childish? I know but why not
I slowly and cautiously walked in, holding back a laughter and peeped through the blind curtains which has covered the glass window and was weirdly opened.
However, the very next second I regretted coming in here as my world shattered in front of my eyes and I was not able to process any thing further
Author's POV
The girl's heart shattered into tiny pieces as she watched her love dangerously close to another women and was leaning in with no intention of backing off.
Initially she thought she must be hallucinating and rubbed her eyes only to get her last hope shattered.
She was not able to process anything as she watched the love of her life connecting his lips with an unknown woman right in front of her eyes which were now getting watery as she felt a sting in her heart which was already shattered.
She was in so much pain that she was not able to form any words as her mouth opened and close not knowing what to say
I'm hallucinating
This can't be true
My Jungkook would never do that
He can't cheat me, right?
Was all she was able to think at that moment
She did not know when her feets retrieved and she ran outside the office building avoiding the calls of Misun asking what happened, holding back her tears, trying hard not to cry
As soon as she took a seat inside her car her eyes released the tears that they were holding back and she screamed in pain and shook her head in denial
"Thi...s is no t tr...ue It's a d..r..ream" She said through her hiccups as she tried to convince herself
That's when she realised that the recording button was still on and after closing it she went to gallery to see the scene of her husband kissing some lady has been recorded.
She closed the video as it hurted her more. She felt like dying, at the very moment she closed her eyes to relax, cause the only thing that she was able to see is the image of her husband with that lady.
"7 years, 7 ye...ars, I gave my sh...itty 7 years to hi..m on..ly to se...e him wit..h some...one e...lse" She hiccuped as her whole life was flashed against her, all her happy moments with Jungkook felt like a lie that she wanted to believe but couldn't
The only thing that she was feeling right now was being used, hurt and betrayed
And the next thing she knew was she drove her car at High speed to middle of nowhere. At that moment she just either wanted to disappear or wanted everything to disappear.
