One of Lady Georgina and Lady Catherine's loyal and much-liked workers ran over to them.

"Your Ladyships, please excuse my interruption" he was breathless from running over.

"There is an angry group of Soldiers coming towards the house, and they've got a cannon with them, he said they are going to blow your house up" he explained.

Georgina & Catherine were very relaxed and not remotely concerned.

"How many of them" asked Catherine

"12 miss, they said you stole their horses and destroyed their train home with dynamite. Now they will miss their leave"

"Thank you, Tom, please spread the word and tell everyone not to worry!" said Georgina The worker hurried off to spread the word.

Georgina & Catherine looked at each other "Oops, at least they are telling the truth this time! Our circus name should be the Dynamite Damsels" They both laughed.

"I suppose we should go and chat with them?"

They both got up from their seats and strolled over.

"I'm going full lady of the manor on them " joked Georgina.

They walked over to the marching troops.

"Stop right there! Who's the commanding officer" said Georgina in an authoritative voice.

"I am Sargeant Thomas of..." he was stopped in his introduction.

"A Sargeant? You are the highest ranking here? You're not even an officer! On whose authority are you trespassing on my land...Sargeant?" barked Georgina

"Erm, well mine miss," said Sargeant Thomas

"You are a Port Authority soldier aren't you?" asked Catherine

"Yes miss" she said in reply.

"Did you get lost Saregant? I suggest that your map reading skills are nearly as poor as your understanding of the law. You are out of your jurisdiction and you unlawfully have a cannon with you, I see your men also have arms. Well, Sargeant I could get you arrested, we donate to the local battalion of the King's soldiers, I know the Commanding officer very well. I could have you all arrested. You would all hang for this" said Catherine.

The once rowdy mob of soldiers were quiet as mice.

"You have stolen property here and you blew up a military train" nervously said the Sargeant

"I'll summarise for you, unlawful, trespass, Cannon on the streets in peacetime, private estate, not an officer, not even a real soldier. You..will..all..hang" said Georgina in a stern sarcastic voice.

The soldiers turned and talked in a huddle.

"Its a shame Sargeant Thomas appears to be quite handsome!" whispered Catherine

Sgt Thomas came forward.

"Please excuse the intrusion, Miss," he said

"It's your Ladyship to you Sargeant!" she corrected him.

"I'm new here. It's my first week. I don't want to be a port soldier. I stupidly lied about some costs when building a boat and now I'm here as punishment." he spoke quietly so the others didn't hear.

"I thought we could scare you with the canon and just take the horses," he explained. " I didn't know I was breaking the law, the others said I could do what I saw fit"

"How naive of you Sergeant" replied Catherine.

"It is true. We took the horses from the fort. We look after animals and they were poorly treated" said Georgina.
