Blade scanned the room a couple times trying to search for his perfect meal, finally he found her. she was standing away from the crowd with her back pressed against the door frame. he couldn't see any of her features only her long brown hair. this is going to be an easy kill he thought to himself. he hated the fact of what he had to do. he had to kill innocent people to survive, he had to drink all their blood. he had no remorse but still deep down inside of him he knew all this was wrong.

he made his way over to her, he was admiring how she hadn't even noticed him. she was to busy on her phone to look up, he was getting annoyed by the fact she didn't notice him. most girls would be begging for their life right now but not her, instead she was doing something on her phone. that's one thing blade didn't get about humans, how they could spend all day looking at some screen.

"you know you should be more careful at a party like this...... wouldn't want you getting hurt." he says while smirking at her.

before she even had time to look up he pinned her arms upon her head. she trying getting away by kicking but it was no use. blade put his sharp fangs on her neck, he went to bite down but stopped. looking up at her, he saw all her features. her flawless soft skin, long brown hair and pleading deep ocean blue eyes.

they just stayed there and gazed at each other, it felt like the whole word stopped and it was just them. And with that blade walked off into the night. as for the unknown girl she was just left standing there. not really knowing what to do. she had just almost got killed by a vampire. but why, why didn't he kill her? she kept wondering.

she wanted to go home, but her friend that brought her here was passed out cold on the couch with some old dude.
she gathered up her things and left the party.

still thinking about the boy who almost killed her. his dark raven black hair, pale skin and piercing blue eyes. she had only seen him for just a slit second before he walked out the doors and left her.

when she got home, she tried her best to get sleep but she just couldn't all she could think about was the vampire that could have killed her. why didn't he? he had killed many beautiful women, hell he's even killed demons, witches and even his own kind. but yet he couldn't quiet kill her.

blade was pacing around, thinking about the girl. something inside of him told him not to hurt her, to keep her safe. not even he could understand why he didn't kill that girl, he was weak was all he could come up with but deep down he knew exactly why he didn't kill her. he liked her, hell maybe even loved. he just couldn't tell himself that no matter how much he wanted her, he'd never say he fell for a human girl.
