We were in are in our rented mini van going to Universal. My stomach was turning with both being nervous and excitement. I had been to Universal before, but I had never been on all of the that I was going to be forced to go on. Those rides were rides like Dr. Doom's Fear Fall and upside down rollercoasters. I saw the signs coming up and closed my eyes while taking deep breaths. Why do I have to go on them? What if it gets stuck? I'm going to pee my pants... What if I close my eyes so I can't see anything? I should close my eyes... What if I chicken out and don't go? UGH!!!!!! Calm your pants, Lauren!!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!
We were there before I knew it. I got more and more knots in my stomach the closer I got to the park. We were going to Islands of Adventure. That meant the Harry Potter Section. I had already been on the ride inside the castle, but I hadn't been on the ride that was coming up next. Dueling Dragons. I had the urgent need to pee before I got on the ride. I just closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I can do this. I don't need to be scared anymore. It's been 14 years. You should be able to do this by now. You can always just scream and close your eyes the whole time. I opened my eyes right before it started. I saw the thumbs up. The coaster then started. I looked over the my older sister's best friend who was sitting next to me. She had a huge smile on her face. We were also sitting in the front. I took a deep breath and was ready to expeirence what was after this incline. One more deep breath. That's when I saw the view.
