DENNIES/BACK HOME

it's 6:30 on the dot, and I just got to dennies, and I can see Matt waiting outside for me. I yell across the sidewalk, "MATT!" he looks over and smiles, and we both run and hug each other. "Oh my god y/n i missed you so much you look so DIFFRENT YOUR HAIR!" Matt said. "yea its a little longer now omg your beard matt, you need to shave that." we both laugh. "yea well lets get dennies," said Matt. I walked in with Matt, and he led me to the table he already got. I dabbed up, Nick smiled, and said hi. I see chris, and he is sitting in front of me. He's just looking on his phone like he always does. 

I sit down and take my hair down and set my phone on the seat and grab a dennies menu. "So y/n how was georgia?" matt said, "oh it was okay it was really hot even during winter but besides that it was still bad at school also the yearbook photos were bad wish nick was there" Nick posed a peice sign "Im just better like that". nick says, and me and Matt laugh. Chris is just on his phone he hasnt even looked up he just is zoned out, i guess? the waitress came over to our table and asked for our order . Matt got flat chocolate pancakes, Nick got waffles, and chris got french toast, and i got a waffle tower. We all eat and talk, and chris is just quiet the whole time, which is weird. 

*Time skips*

Matt and Nick had to drive to cvs and grab a couple of stuff before school tomorrow. I can't believe they just left me with chris they know he bullied me all the time, and we dont get along. Chris was just on his phone standing outside, and I stood there for a little while and decided to walk back home. I cross my arms and shiver, walking back home. It's around 8:30 pm, and the moon is the only light, and it's really foggy and cold. I regret wearing a tanktop out in this weather. I keep walking, and I hear footsteps behind me as I walk. I continue to walk, trying not to turn around and see who it is. I go up to my front door and I forgot my house key and my dad is at my grandmas, aka his mom visiting her. I decided to sit on my front porch steps and sit on my phone shivering outside. 

its 9:00 and im still outside and Im still locked out and I see a man walk over up to my porch but its so foggy i can't even see who it is then my front porch light catches a glimpse and its chris. "chris?" i say. His hands are in his pockets, and he looks down at me. "Aren't you cold?" I nod my head yes, and he just tilts his head to his house, and he walks away. I'm very confused, but I just start following him. I walk in and it's not cold it's really nice and warm but I'm still cold, obviously. I see Mary Lou, aka the triplets mom. "HI Mary lou!" I said Mary Lou got up and gave me a sweet old hug. Mary Lou was like a mom figure to me since my mom left when I was little. I follow chris, and he grabs a pepsi and opens it, and takes a sip. how is he not pissed off at me he always bullies me that doesn't make sense. "You can stay the night if you want cause it's the first day of school," chris says while sipping his pepsi again. oh, okay, I grab my phone and text my dad.
