Robin was knocked out, so I had to carry her somewhere safe. She was heavy. I plopped her down in a pile of leaves in a forest I have never seen before. She had a fast pulse, and was breathing heavily. I was shedding tears. They were burning hot when they rolled down my thin coat and into my skin. Robin was coughing. She was awake! "Mmmmmm." She moaned. "Robin! Are you ok?" I was feeling so guilty. Her breathing was as fast as a bullet zipping above my head. "I'm so sorry I had to get you into this." I whispered into her ear. I ran to the river that was about 7 feet away, and wet my paw. I ran back on three legs, and washed Robin off with my paw. "Raven." she managed to get out."My paw. I can't move it." I checked it out. It wasn't broken, but it was sprained. "C'mon. I will help you up a tree." She was silent, but climbed on to my back. I climbed the tallest tree there was. She fell asleep.
