Back at the place she began. The town that made her childhood a misery. Yuki took in all her surroundings. Was this really the place she remembered from her horrible past?
~~
"Fatty, ugly, troll." They chanted in her face. "You are so ugly, the boys will never like you." The girls jeered and poked. Tears streamed down her face as she glanced at the faces of her classmates and bullies .
~~
Why, why now did the bad memories have to flood into her brain now. She left Mayto to go live with her grandmother (not a real town but just go with it) 2 years ago to get away from the bullying and the teasing.

Yuki didn't have much friends anyway so no one really cared when she left. She stared at the wall opposite her while she sat on her bed. Her grandmother had been so kind to her and welcomed her with open arms but then....tragedy struck. Yuki remembered that horrid day very clearly and she sure wished she didn't.
~~
"Happy 15th Birthday Yuki!!" Her grandmother cheered and clapped her hands joyfully. Yuki couldn't help but smile ear to ear as she stared at the massive cake that sat on the big kitchen table.

"Thanks grandma." Yuki giggled. She felt like everything was perfect, nothing could go wrong. "The phones ringing Maria!" Yuki recognized her grandfathers voice call to her Grandmother.

"Okay hun I'll just answer the phone and then we'll eat the cake. While i'm on the phone take the cake into the dining room." Her grandmother explained and flounced out into the hallway to the phone.

Yuki stood at the kitchen door with the cake in her hands listening to the conversation. She could hear everything the caller on the phone was saying.

She could easily hear the words that broke down her world and shredded it to sad little pieces.

"Mr and Mrs Maher have died in a car accident ma'am. We are sorry to be the ones to tell you this."

My cake slipped from my hands and smashed to the floor. Why me?
~~
The whole time Yuki had been in her grandparents she had been changing herself. Thanks to her bullies she resented herself for what she was.

She refused to eat, slowly slimming down her body to her idea of the perfect size. She grew out her short hair to longer than shoulder length. Also in her daily routine she now included make up but she was never happy with her image.

Her grandparents were the owners of a large hotel and were sorta rich So she was able to afford all kinds of expensive clothes not that she really cared.

After her parents death she couldn't help but stumble into depression. Yuki shut out anyone remotely close to her and quietly resented everyone for not being her parents.

That was up until Maria had enough of her depression so here Yuki was back in her hometown. Last week she had been forced to move into an apartment by herself.

All though her grandmother was gonna send her money every month and pay for the apartment, Yuki couldn't help but think that she was being rejected from her family.

Mayto High school. That was the name of the school she was being forced to transfer into. She was gonna be starting today and she was dreading it. Having to see the familiar faces that she'd hoped she'd never have to look at again.

~~
A tall girl pushed her over in the school playground,"Watch where you're going freak!"

That's how the girls saw her as here, a freak. "Hey that was your fault!" A boy yelled from behind Yuki,"You pushed her."

Hands from behind me hauled me to my feet. "Apologize now!" The same boy's voice demanded. The tall girl's eyes widened and gawked behind Cassi in fright,"S-sorry Y-yuki."

"It's fine." She nodded while the girl scurried off. Curiosity got the better of Yuki and she spun around the see the boy who helped her. Yamato Whyse.

~~
Yamato was her first friend and love. They were pretty close to each other but she knows she hurt him. She'd left without telling him that she was leaving or where she was going.

For all Yamoto-kun knew she could be dead and that killed her inside because Yuki knew she had pained him.

What if he goes to her new school with her!? There's no other high school near this town.

Yuki's phone beeped. It was time to leave for school.
