Week one

Layton and Nikita do a samba to Touch by Little mix.

Slay. That is the pure definition of this dance. So much sas. It was one of my favorites for sure. So good. I mean I was expecting him to deliver so it didn't come as much of a suprise. I loved the propat the start it gave me Noa Kirel vibes. Love the song as well.

Kai and Angela do a cha cha to Get the party started by Shirley Bassey.

I mean wow. I wasn't sure about her with latin but sge did so well. I do however think the media is overating the dance though. For me it wasn't the best but was definitely up there. The start was to die for. I love a good opening! She is so flexible. The song was brilliant. It was great!

Bobby and Dianne do a foxtrot to All about you by Mcfly.

Beautiful. I expected this from him. However, this us the problem with sweet, it's forgettable. Dianne is amazing at choreographing just unlucky to land a ballroom first. Innocent and pure. It told a story and as soon as theirs a story theirs a tick for me. I loved the bit out of hold.

Jowita and Judy do a quickstep to Sitting on top of the world by Bobby Darin.

Score: 5+5+6+5=21 (6th)
I'm so sorry. It's not the best. He did better then I expected though!  I did like the aesthetics of it though.

Carlos and Angela do a tango to Prisoner by Miley Cirius feat. Fua Lipa.

Score:6+6+5+6=23 (4th)
I loved it. The opening was amazing. The whole dance was brilliant. I don't get Shirleys brain. She believes THIS is on the same level as Les's tango. The tension. The asthetics of the floor/set where beyond fabulous and the costumes were beautiful. Great song choice as well.

Vito and Ellie do a jive to can't tame her by Zara Larsson.

So much energy. I myself am not a fan of Vito but I have to say he smashed the choreography. This was so much fun. Nice song as well and the aesthetics were just right for this song one of the best in my opinion.

Johannas and Annabel do a cha cha to uptown girl by Billy Joel.

I loved this. She is really elegant and her and Johannes are such a good couple. This was really sweet. There isn't really mush else to add apart from really good. Well done them!

Karen and Edie do a quickstep to two hearts by Phill Collins.

So much fun. He is so energetic and his personality is going to take him far. He will probably go out of the contest on a tango or paso doble. Something serious. For the time he is around he will put big smiles on our faces.

Nancy and Les do a tango to don't you want me by the human league.

Score:2+4+5+5=16 (19th)
It was funny. I'll give him that. Bless Nancy, she choose the right song. Maybe he will improve but I don't see him going far. NO WHERE NEAR ANGELA'S TANGO!!!

Luba and Adam  do a cha cha to Waffle house by Johnass brothers.

This was such a brilliant start to strictly. I do feel bad for him being first as it left him with a score too low. It was fun because he had fun. I really hope Luba goes far. The robot! Massively underscored!

Amanda and Giovanni do a Viennese walse to pointless by luis Capaldi.

Such beautiful story telling. I loved this! This is how you dance a walse.I hope she does go far.
I don't know if the rumors are true so I have chosen to focus on her dancing ability.
All of the people making up things. Stop. Her and Giovanni seem like the best of friends. She is not the type of person to quite. She is a good dancer. Stop making stuff up. It's crazy, just admit you don't like her based on a instagram post and her rumoured homophobia. I saw an article which stated that her and Giovanni where destined to not get along because of their star signs. That's stupid. They won't get along because they were born at different times. That's what the article said. So stupid. Absolute rubbish.

Katya and Nigel do a paso doble to Smells like teen spirit by Nirvana.

Score:8+8+8+8=32 (1st)
So well deserved. Katya is a genious. So annoyed that this is being overshadowed by Angela's Cha cha. This was epic. I completely agree with the judges. This was the best of the night. The dance. The costumes. The set. Blissfully brilliant. So good. I hope they can keep thus standard up!

Gorka and Nikita do a walse to run to you by Whitney Houston.

Score:3+5+5+5=18 (8th )
She looked really unstable. I think she will do better with the latin.

Graziano and Zara do a cha cha to crush by Jennifer Page.

As Shirley mentioned she was stiff around the ribcage and it made the whole dance look rubbish. She was so good in every other part. I feel like she's holding back.
My score: 5/10 or 18/40

Krishnan and Lauren do a cha cha to boom shack a lack by Apache Indian.

Score: 5+6+6+5= 22 (joint 5th -2 way tie-)
So much fun. I already love Lauren. If they can pull an act this fun out of their bag every week they will go far. Great song choice by Lauren. I was so busy paying attention to the set and her and the song that I completely forgot about Krishnan and here I believe that is a good thing.
