Real Love - A Short Angel Haze Fanfic

When Jean arrived anxiously on his first day at university, he felt aloof. At the end of his classes, he became infatuated by a girl of colour whom he had seen at the basketball grounds. Her name was Raee'n, who self-described herself as asexual.
But that didn't stop him from always thinking about her. Like Raee'n, he too believed that love is boundary-less, and he loved her for who she was.

Before Jean met Raee'n, he was always timid in front of people. He was always socially awkward as he never knew what to say to girls as soon as he approached one. He was very self-conscious and feared what people would think of him, so spent most of his life alone not knowing where to go.

This resulted from a couple years back, where his last girlfriend, Moira, left him without his knowledge. He believed that this occurred because she acted as if she really loved him when deep down she felt insecure in their relationship as she felt she couldn't trust him enough to remain in an everlasting relationship.

"I wake up from nightmares soddened in my fears,

That same night, Jean asked Raee'n out on a date, where they would go out for sushi and then to his dormitory.
They spent a total of four hours together, conversing and eventually talking romantically.
"I love you", he said.
"Until death do as part", she said.
So they spent the rest of the night in his bed, with her pulling and tugging at his shirt and him pinching her cheeks followed by cuddles and kisses.
From that night on, they really fell in love and the two were inseparable. Jean easily knew that Raee'n had a beautiful soul, as she loved him for his intelligence and personality, not just by appearances. They believed that they would last forever, as they could not live without each other...
