Author's pov

It had been a few days since Vegas found out about Big. He was contemplating whether he should let Kinn know about this or not. Growing up with the older, made him accustomed to Kinn's behaviour. He is a straightforward man. If he doesn't like something, he won't think twice before voicing out his distaste. While he may seem nice, there's also a dangerous side to him.

Kinn can not stand cheaters. To him, they're like pests that only exist to cause the human race disturbance. His hatred for them is so great that if he finds someone backstabbing him, he will kill them with his own hands. His dead ex is a gleaming example of that.

So it's dangerous to reveal the truth to him now. He'll rip Big's body apart if he comes to know about the things he did and is planning to do. That's where the problem lies. Big is just a pawn in this game of power politics. Their main enemy is preparing to do more damage.

He just have to wait till the date of the deal comes. That way it would be easier to capture both the king and the little pawn.

"Make sure the containers aren't too recognisable. We'll move the goods from there to the storage very soon" Kinn talked rapidly while examining the computer screen, monitoring the location of the ship that was arriving from Australia. His shoulders were rigid and eyebrows were pinched into a vicious frown. He then took the walkie talkie that was lying on his desk and summoned someone in his office.

In a few minutes Big entered the room. He bowed as Kinn gave him order to go to the port and keep watch on the situation there. The guard walked out right after receiving the command.

The day of the importation came sooner than expected. Kinn was under high stress. Every minor inconvenience was irking him.

"Ken, are you in the mansion at this moment?" He asked holding the walkie talkie close to his mouth. The man on the other side responded assertively.

"Very well. Then go to the port with more guards. I don't want any kind of problem happening during the moving of the goods" Kinn said then put the device away. He sighed rubbing his eyes. Accepting his father's death and moving on with life proved to be rather hard. He had been loosing sleep because of work related stuff. These deals used to be a piece of cake before. But now he can't focus on anything for too long. His mind somehow always drifts to the thoughts regarding his dad's death.

The sound of a knock echoed in the room, forcing him to look towards the door. Porsche entered before Kinn could give permission.

"It's time for us to go there" Porsche said, already prepared wearing his uniform. Kinn nodded in affirmation and got up grabbing his jacket.

Both men departed to go to the port. Little did they know what was awaiting for them on their destination.
