Abhijeet's POV

I was coming back to my room from dinner. After the function everyone was so tired so we quickly had dinner and left to our respective rooms for some rest.

The dinner was weirdly quite and empty as she was not there.

Harsh uncle was about to go call her, but was stopped by dadi.
As she said thats its better if we let her rest.

And asked me to give her food and medicines, whenever she gets up. As my room was next her room.

Currently I was walking through the corridors to go to my room. I still remember that look on her face.

It was like all the life was drained out of her face. My heart clenched looking at her like that.

I wanted to destroy everything that ever caused her pain or even thought to.

I was about to open my room door when I heard voices coming out of her room. Without wasting any time I tried to open her door.

But realised that it was lock. I tried and tried to open it but nothing happened.

So taking a few steps backward I broke the door by my shoulder and stepped in her room.

My heart broke at the sight. She was laying in her bed and whimpering.
She was crying and mumbling something.

I took step forward towards her bed and took her in my arms.

“No......I said no.....no Don't touch me. Leave me alone.”

She said and tried to resist my hold.

"Shhh Ish I am here no one will hurt you.. shhh"

"Nooo!!!!!! Leave me...... I said leave me!!!!!!"

"Shh love please listen me....come back to me please."

I didn't realise that I had tears in my eyes.
My heart broke in million pieces seeing my butterfly like this in my arms.

At this very moment I knew that I will burn this world down to ashes if that means that she will be happy again.

I will destroy every single person who ever looked at her in wrong way.

I was constantly repeating sweet things in her ears to clam her down.
Finally after half an hour she calmed down.

Slowly opening her eyes she looked at me and sniffled her nose.

"I am sorry to disturb you. And thank you for comforting me."

She said with a small smile.

She was always smiling and laughing so genuinely that I didn't notice the pain behind it.

But now at this moment onwards I promise myself to look behind those heartwarming smiles to check if they are genuine or just mask to hide the pain.

"Never be sorry for something you didn't do. And just remember that I am always there for you."

"You won't ask me what happened to me."
