I SIGHED LOOKING AT MYSELF in the mirror, i felt as if my body didn't look right in bathing suits. my insecurities became to rush, my body began to dis form the more & more i looked in the mirror. having body dysmorphia is not for the weak, i had forgot to bring my medication for this trip.
" you look good nadi, it's just your body dysmorphia kicking in, next time i'll remind you to bring your pills. " blessing said staring at me, i nervously sighed. i felt myself getting overwhelmed, ma'lani got up & hugged me to calm my nerves.
" it's okay baby.. " ma'lani softly spoke rubbing my back, i hugged her back to calm myself. i love my friends, they really know how to make me feel better.
" y'all ready to go? " ja'lani asked, we all nodded. notti asked all of his homeboys to come swimming with us, & they agreed only if sa'riyah & i brought our friends.
